One of the many great things about the Caped Crusader is that he's so malleable, and therefore can be enjoyed by people of any age group. No matter if you're a toddler or a grown adult, there's most assuredly a story featuring Gotham City's greatest protector that's bound to satisfy.
Though I still have faith in the soon to be launched DC Universe streaming service because there is much intriguing content dropping in 2019, I can't help noticing how it'll debut with only one new series - Titans - that's ready to go. Normally, you'd think one of the more beloved superhero teams around would tide folks over, but to say the crew's live action series is already being ill-received is an understatement.
Having been there since the beginning, one could say Edward Nigma ranks among the characters making up Gotham who've gone through the most over the course of the show's history. In a nutshell, the guy went from being a socially awkward medical examiner working at the GCPD to one of the town's most notorious criminals, the Riddler.
Though my confidence in the upcoming live action Titans series has seriously sunken now that I've seen the first trailer (social media hasn't been kind to it, either), I can at least applaud it for bringing various DC characters who may have previously been unknown to the masses to the forefront.
Throughout the course of six seasons, Arrow has played host to some pretty crazy cliffhangers. And though we could debate for hours which among them were the best, you have to admit that what we witnessed back in May has to be near the top of the list.
As various Arrowverse series continue fleshing out their casts, it's only natural for some viewers to favor supporting characters over the titular heroes. By now, I'm sure some of you reading this adore Caitlin Snow over on The Flash, or - hold for effect - happen to be a devoted follower of Arrow's Felicity Smoak.
Whenever a show occupies a certain night of the week for a number of years, it's only understandable for viewers to be jarred when it moves to another. In the case of Supergirl, we've always known it to be a Monday night fixture, even when it was on CBS for the first year.
Earlier this week, an image found its way online pertaining to the upcoming live action Titans series showing us the full team in something that wasn't shot by paparazzi. Though technically an amateur photo itself, it captured the front end of the DC Universe offsite experience set to open its doors as part of the San Diego Comic-Con celebration.
These days, it seems damn near impossible to discuss the upcoming live action Titans series without touching on the costumes. On the one hand, the duds sported by young heroes like Robin or Hawk and Dove are the stuff of legend. But on the other, Beast Boy, Raven and Starfire aren't looking so great.
In the midst of Team Arrow's civil war that unfolded over the course of season 6, one of the biggest motivators for tuning in was to see how the Black Siren situation played out. Having come over from Earth-2 a couple years back, Laurel Lance's doppelganger eventually shed her villainous ways thanks to the tireless efforts of the now deceased Quentin Lance.
