After Greg Berlanti and company began these Arrowverse crossovers a few years back with what were once two-show affairs, they soon blossomed into something greater than any of us could imagine. In the seasons to follow, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow joined forces with Arrow and The Flash to create prime time epics such as "Invasion!" and "Crisis on Earth-X."
Though we each may have our differing opinions regarding how Arrow's sixth season turned out, it's probably safe to say that many of us remain optimistic regarding what's to come. A huge reason for this is that Colton Haynes is back on as a series regular beginning this fall, as he'll reprise his role of Roy Harper.
Slowly but surely, we’re learning more about what to expect from the upcoming Aquaman solo film when it comes to how the major players will appear. I mean, Justice League gave us a good idea of what’s in store for Jason Momoa’s Arthur Curry and Amber Heard’s Mera’s respective fashions, but it wasn’t until last month that we knew what Nicole Kidman’s Queen Atlanna, Patrick Wilson’s Ocean Master and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s Black Manta looked like.
In the past few years, The Flash has played host to some memorable big bads. To be honest, I won't soon forget how we pondered the true identities of the Reverse-Flash, Zoom and Savitar back in the day, not to mention which villain resonated with us most. In case you're wondering, Zoom was my personal favorite, but that's a discussion best saved for another time.
When a series has been on the air as long as Arrow, there's bound to be a seemingly endless list of moments to have resonated with fans. If I were to ask you to fire off your top five favorite scenes right now, it'd probably take you a few minutes to choose, but odds are that you're well aware of which epic fights or cliffhangers knocked your socks off.
Now that filming has commenced on The Flash's fifth season, we can expect for pictures from the set to surface online from time to time - and for a new trailer to likely drop this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con. But since we're not speedsters ourselves and therefore are unable to travel to the future, let's just focus on the information we have in front of us.
If anything, Titans is proving to be wildly uneven when it comes to the area of costume design. Already, we've seen the best of what they have to offer, that being Brenton Thwaites as what I believe to be the most badass-looking Robin to ever grace the live action side of things. And to be honest, Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly appear pretty sharp as Hawk and Dove, too.
If you've been watching Gotham from the start and have kept up with news pertaining to the Batman prequel series, then you may remember all of the back-and-forth regarding Harley Quinn possibly showing up in season 3. At the time, we expected for the Barbara Kean character to become this show's version of the Clown Princess of Crime, but it ultimately wasn't meant to be.
Now that the Joker origin movie is officially a go at Warner Bros., let's just say that fans online have had some, um, rather colorful things to remark about something that hasn't even begun shooting. Granted, the DC Extended Universe hasn't had the greatest of track records with general audiences, but keep in mind that this'll be a different beast entirely.
What do we know about about Barry Allen as a person? So far, we've learned that he'd do anything for his friends and family, and that, as the Flash, he's saved Central City on numerous occasions. But aside from the obvious, very few can avoid making the obligatory jokes about his penchant for screwing with the timeline.
