If you've been on the scene long enough to remember those Halo LAN parties from the days of the original Xbox, then odds are you've been waiting for a substantial live action adaptation for quite some time. I mean, we've had various web series and the comedic Red vs. Blue to digest in the time since, but that doesn't change the fact that a major motion picture or a prime time TV series have eluded us.
Of the various DC movies to arrive before the current decade expires, it may be safe to say that Wonder Woman 1984 is the most eagerly anticipated. After all, not only was the first film a smashing success at the box office, but it was just so damn good as well.
Even though the band of misfits making up the Doom Patrol predate Marvel’s X-Men in the comic book realm, it was those merry mutants who ultimately went on to find more mainstream success. But now that this ragtag crew is getting their own series thanks to the upcoming DC Universe streaming service, they'll finally have their time in the spotlight. Needless to say, that’s a whole lot of incentive to sign up.

Though few of us expect but a handful of the myriad of DC movies thus far “announced” to actually see the light of day, it certainly doesn’t help matters when two of those are headlined by competing versions of the same character.
With his days on The Walking Dead now behind him, it makes sense that actor Chandler Riggs be ready to move on to other gigs. In fact, it appears as though he'd very much like to make the jump from AMC's most popular show to that of The CW's.
To date, Arrow has brought us its share of memorable characters such as Manu Bennett’s Deathstroke, Caity Lotz’s Sara Lance and, don’t forget, even Grant Gustin got his start there as Barry Allen! Yep, there’s a very good reason why it spawned what we now refer to as “the Arrowverse.”
