Even though our common sense should be taking over, we're not afraid to admit that we, like many of you, expressed concern when Wally West recently left town on The Flash. Basically, he didn't take Jesse Quick's decision to break up with him so well, and has since decided to do a bit of soul searching. Logically, there shouldn't be much reason to fret, but it's hard not to recall Colton Haynes leaving Arrow not long after he was promoted to being Arsenal, a situation to which parallels can be drawn.
So far, it's been a pretty good week for those of you who enjoy both Scooby-Doo and DC Comics. Just days ago, we learned that our favorite Great Dane will soon take part in an animated crossover film with a freshly resurrected Batman: The Brave and the Bold. And, today, we're proud to bring you this exclusive first look inside the next issue of Scooby Apocalypse.
As of late, Warner Bros. have been making sure we're all hyped for Justice League, with recent weeks leading up to the super team’s big screen debut focusing on each individual member. A few weeks ago, they kicked things off in style by focusing on Jason Momoa’s Aquaman and then, it was the Flash who enjoyed the spotlight. Just last week, meanwhile, Wonder Woman and Cyborg got to share the glory.
Even though Thor: Ragnarok debuts in cinemas in just a couple of days, it turns out we're not going to have to wait years for interesting bits of trivia to trickle online - even though that'll most assuredly happen. Actually, even the most unexpected sources are proving to bear some generous fruit.
While we’re fully well aware that the wait for Justice League is arguably harder to endure now more than ever due to opening weekend being right around the corner, the folks at Warner Bros. marketing are at least helping us pass the time.
After a couple years of buildup and an Earth-2 doppelganger teasing us of what could be, we finally saw Caitlin Snow become Killer Frost last season on The Flash, something we'd all been waiting for since the pilot episode aired. But even after switching to Team Savitar for a short while, Caitlin was able to tame the monster within before going about her own way for the summer.
For some horrors fans, the past few years have proven to be a long, strange journey - especially if you have a vested interest in a certain Long Island haunted house. Basically, Amityville: The Awakening was hit with delay after delay after delay, something we don't see often outside of the video game medium. Believe it or not, it was originally supposed to be released in January of 2015, but was only recently made available for mass consumption.

Despite being someone who has enjoyed each entry of the still young DC Extended Universe to varying degrees, I'm not going to deny that three out of four of its offerings were highly polarizing amongst critics, diehard geeks and casual moviegoers, or that some didn't meet financial expectations. Hey, facts are facts, and it's not on my personal agenda to ignore them.
When Batman: The Brave and the Bold debuted on Cartoon Network back in 2008, many fans were understandably hesitant when it came to seeing a lighter take on the Caped Crusader than had been witnessed in animation for some time. But lo and behold, said animated series found much success throughout the course of its three seasons by retaining the tongue-in-cheek nature of the TV show starring Adam West and utilizing the vastness of the DC Universe in a way similar to Justice League Unlimited. Really, it's no wonder why some felt it rivaled Batman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond in terms of quality.
