Whenever any given television series lasts for a number of seasons, it's just expected that not every member of the principal cast will stick around forever. Heck, even Michael Rosebaum left Smallville after seven years - and he's still viewed by many as being the definitive Lex Luthor in live action. Well, as it turns out, The Flash could experience similar changes before 2019 expires.
If you've frequented Raccoon City as much as I have during your lifetime, then odds are you're aware of how there's enough interesting trivia pertaining to the survival horror series we're here to discuss today to fill a book - specifically for two of its finest entries, those being Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4. For now, though, we're going to discuss the former because multiple details regarding the remake's development process have just been brought to light.
Some time has gone by since Legends of Tomorrow last graced our TV screens, but rest assured that we'll rejoin the Waverider crew before long as they'll soon return to Monday nights once Black Lightning has had a chance to wrap its second season.
Though the Ghost Survivors DLC for the remake of Resident Evil 2 ultimately didn't prove to be my cup of tea, it's been adored by those who love extra gameplay scenarios such as "The 4th Survivor" or Raid Mode. If you were to ask me, the new content kind of feels like a marriage of those two concepts.
Aside from the seemingly endless war with Cicada being prolonged, another big part of The Flash's fifth season has dealt with the subplot involving Nora West-Allen and Eobard Thawne. Long story short, the Scarlet Speedster's own daughter has had a secret alliance with his greatest nemesis this entire time. And though Nora's intentions are pure, it's entirely possible that she's being manipulated.
Though Supergirl tells the story of Kara Zor-El first and foremost, it’s pretty much impossible to avoid certain hallmarks of the DC Universe due to her being the cousin of Superman. As such, Tyler Hoechlin has already shown up as Big Blue on several occasions, not to mention other vital characters such as James Olsen and Cat Grant putting in appearances as well.
Those of you who’ve been keeping up with the current season of Arrow have no doubt been witness to the latest storytelling element employed by the writers, that being the flash forward. In stark contrast to seasons 1-5 detailing Oliver Queen’s time abroad via flashbacks, we’re now being thrust twenty years into the future in order to see a Star City with a dramatically changed landscape in various respects.
The remake of Resident Evil 2 may have been released just over one month ago, but we're already losing count of how many mods are out there. Though some have made the game all the more terrifying and challenging (ten Mr. X Tyrants, anyone?), others can make you laugh your ass off ("Beachboy" Mr. X is a fine example of just that). Suffice it to say, today's topic leans toward the latter.
Whether or not Henry Cavill is truly finished with playing Superman (my gut tells me he is), it's an absolute certainty that he'll one day be replaced. Really, ever since Kirk Alyn first ran with the torch back in the 1940's, a very exclusive club made up by the luckiest actors around have had the privilege to play the timeless icon.
Now that it appears as though Henry Cavill has vacated the role, everyone is speculating on which actor may next inherit the mantle of Superman. Personally, I'm not sure of whom I'd choose myself, but it's guaranteed this icon will be recast every so often. I guess I'm just going with the flow.
