Here’s How To Unlock Infinite Ammo In Resident Evil 2’s Ghost Survivors DLC

Though the Ghost Survivors DLC for the remake of Resident Evil 2 ultimately didn't prove to be my cup of tea, it's been adored by those who love extra gameplay scenarios such as "The 4th Survivor" or Raid Mode. If you were to ask me, the new content kind of feels like a marriage of those two concepts.

Believe it or not, there’s a way to make your future Ghost Survivors playthroughs a lot easier. But much like how unlocking weapons with infinite ammo during the main game is quite difficult, so, too, is doing so in the DLC. In fact, one could argue that it’s even more challenging after reading this article.

In order to get the elusive Gunslinger achievement, you’re going to have to unlock the “No Way Out” scenario. To do this, you’ll first have to complete all three of the initially available Ghost Survivors episodes, those being “No Time to Mourn,” “Runaway,” and “Forgotten Soldier.”

Once you’ve knocked down each of those, “No Way Out” will materialize on your menu screen. In this episode, you take control of Sheriff Daniel Cortini, as he must slay a grand total of 100 zombies in the very same gas station that began the main game.

Now, here’s the kicker: in order to get that Gunslinger record, you must not use more than 60 shots from your handgun. This means you’re going to have to go for headshots on standard zombies as often as possible, not to mention making use of other weapons. Plus, it’d be a good idea to corral as many creatures around zombies bearing explosives as much as possible before taking strategic aim.

Let it be known that you can check how many handgun shots you’ve fired by keeping an eye on the Gunslinger record from your pause menu. As you can imagine, this’ll be crucial so that you don’t lose count.

After going through the described hell, you’ll be granted the bizarre cat ears accessory in Resident Evil 2‘s Ghost Survivors DLC. This, oddly enough, signifies that you’ve unlocked infinite ammo for all of your weapons. Congratulations.
