While it seems like the majority of fans are going to love Joker, there will definitely be a few who are displeased with the movie's take on the iconic titular character. Director Todd Phillips has a message for those critics: don't worry. The villain will inevitably be back again in some way, shape or form. In his own words:
The Joker is undeniably the most high-profile villain gig in the world of comic book movies. The role has the power to turn a respectable actor into a legend, like it did for Heath Ledger. It can also seriously hurt an Oscar-winning performer's career, though. Just ask Jared Leto.
Those who grew up watching The Fox and the Hound should get ready to sob all over again. According to our sources, Disney is reportedly in the early stages of developing a live-action remake of the 1981 animated classic for a new generation of fans. Though nothing has been confirmed by the studio as of yet, the film is likely to land on the Disney Plus streaming platform.
There are so many superheroes featured in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame that it's miraculous that some of them get highlighted at all. Because the overflow of good guys have to split time onscreen, it therefore makes sense that the primary antagonist should get the most minutes in front of the camera. Yet, a recent calculation of the two blockbuster films shows that Thanos actually comes in second to one of the most iconic Avengers: Iron Man.
Following the highly-anticipated release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Keri Russell might find herself starring in another blockbuster movie. According to our sources, the actress is currently being eyed by Warner Bros. for a role in The Batman. It's unknown which part she's being considered for, and she's only on an internal studio wishlist at the moment, but fans should be excited that this highly talented performer might be about to land a role in the upcoming flick regardless.
A new clip from Rob Zombie's upcoming horror flick 3 From Hell has landed online today and features Vera-Ellen Firefly, also known as "Baby," hunting a hulking gunman with a bow and arrow. The heart-pounding forty-five second scene (which you can view via the link below, as we can't embed it here) culminates in Sheri Moon Zombie's character taking out the man in the luchador mask with a perfect shot to the neck.
The cast of The Batman might be on the verge of becoming even more star-studded. According to our sources - the same ones who were the first to confirm that Robert Pattinson would be playing the Dark Knight, that Viola Davis was returning for The Suicide Squad and that Black Mask will be gay in Birds of Prey - Woody Harrelson is currently being eyed to take on an unknown role in the flick. While this doesn't mean he'll 100% get the part, it's certainly something that fans are going to want to see, as adding an actor of such a high caliber to any project instantly makes it better.
Officer Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are coming back to the big screen, as according to our sources, Zootopia 2 is currently in development at Disney. The sequel to the beloved animated film will be aiming to bring back as much of the talented voice cast as it can, too, including Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman. Plot details, meanwhile, haven't surfaced just yet, but this scoop comes to us from the same source who relayed that Aladdin 2 would be happening long before the official news broke, so we have no reason to doubt it.
No one would mistake Batman Forever as the best Bruce Wayne movie ever made. In fact, some think its much the opposite. While some might expect Joel Schumacher to be defensive of the film he directed, he's more critical than many fans are. In his own words:
It's official: another cast member from The Haunting of Hill House has agreed to join the show's second season. Kate Siegel, who starred as Theo in last year's breakout hit, is now returning for The Haunting of Bly Manor, along with fellow co-stars Victoria Pendretti and Oliver Cohen-Jackson. Those two performers were featured last season in the roles of Nell and Luke, respectively. Meanwhile, Carla Gugino has also expressed her desire to come back, though nothing's been confirmed as of yet.
