Ben Affleck was cast as Bruce Wayne in Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice almost a year ago, but the divisive fan chatter about his casting has yet to die down (and likely won't until the film hits theaters in 2016). Affleck talked about landing the role in passing on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last September (saying, "I handle s**t!"), but has remained remarkably tight-lipped about it ever since.

Katee Sackhoff Has Not Met With Marvel For A Role Yet
Katee Sackhoff's name has been thrown around several times over the years when discussing a possible Marvel Studios role, usually in conversations about the long-rumored Ms. Marvel. The fans aren't the only vocal parties, either, as Joss Whedon recently tweeted a picture of the Battlestar Galactica alum as proof that gender-swapping Thor in the comics could lead to great results. With Ms. Marvel heavily rumored to have a cameo appearance in Whedon's upcoming Marvel flick Avengers: Age of Ultron, is there a chance that Sackhoff could land the coveted role?

Will Ferrell And Adam McKay Team Up For Animated Superhero Comedy Henchmen
Bron Studios has an animated short film premiering at SIGGRAPH 2014 (an annual conference on computer graphics and techniques) called Henchmen: Ill Suited, which has apparently already captured the attention of Gary Sanchez Productions heads Adam McKay, Will Ferrell, and Chris Henchy. According to Deadline, the trio have signed on to produce a feature film adaptation of the short, titled Henchmen.

Are Kryptonite And Zod’s Body In Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice?
When Man of Steel rebooted the Superman franchise for a new generation last year, two important and iconic elements of the mythology were noticeably left out: Kryptonite and Lex Luthor. Lex's presence was definitely felt, thanks to a few little Lexcorp Easter eggs, but for the most part his involvement was saved for the sequel. Jesse Eisenberg will play Superman's nemesis in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and if a new report is to be believed, he'll be bringing Kryptonite with him.

Warner Brothers Has Hired Two Writers To Pen An Aquaman Movie
While Marvel is busy exploring the cosmic side of its cinematic universe, Warner Brothers is taking to the seas with theirs. We know that Aquaman will have a brief cameo in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (and that he'll most likely be played by Jason Momoa), and now we have word that Warner Bros. is aggressively developing a solo film for the super-powered Atlantean.

Marvel Is Moving Forward With An Inhumans Film
Just a few days ago, Guardians of the Galaxy actor Vin Diesel teased fans (again) about The Inhumans, a film that's been rumored to come down Marvel's pipeline for quite some time. Now, it seems that the studio is finally moving forward with the project, which already has a script from Amber Lake scribe Joe Robert Cole. The next step is to take the script and find a filmmaker to bring the cosmic superhuman team to life.

Guillermo del Toro May Use TV’s Constantine For Justice League Dark
Fan-favorite director Guillermo del Toro is a pretty busy guy, who picks up and drops out of projects at an alarming pace. Luckily for us, Justice League Dark is a film that he's very much interested in making, and recently stated that he's still hard at work on making it a reality. The film will focus on the "Dark Universe" of DC Comics mythology, and exist within the same continuity as the rest of the DCCU, which kicked off with last year's Man of Steel and continues in 2016 with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. If del Toro plays his cards right, and impresses the studio heads at Warner Brothers, Justice League Dark could very well become one of the nine untitled DC films that are slated for release between 2016 and 2020.
