NYPD Blue Actress Charlotte Ross Joins Arrow Season 3

As we get closer to Arrow's third season premiere, more and more actors are joining the cast, which in turn brings more DC Comics characters to the series. Over the last few weeks we've seen characters like The Atom (played by former Superman Brandon Routh), a new Count Vertigo (Fargo alum Peter Stormare), Katana (Sin City's Devon Aoki) and Wildcat (House of Payne's J.R. Ramirez) added to the roster, with season "big bad" Ra's Al Ghul yet to be cast.

Don’t Expect A Female Superhero Movie From Marvel Until At Least 2019

Kevin Feige has been dancing around the possibility of a female-led superhero movie for some time now. He's been asked several times over the years about films for characters like Black Widow and Ms. Marvel, and always says that he's open to the idea. He even supports the idea. He's just apparently not willing to commit to it. Or as he suggests, he feels that Marvel is, at the moment, too busy.

Gotham Executive Producer Confirms Mr. Freeze Origin

Gotham executive producer Danny Cannon, who also directed the pilot episode, said back in June that he would like to bring beloved Batman villain Mr. Freeze into the proceedings. Now, Cannon has confirmed that Freeze will appear on the show, and gave a bit of insight into how he'll be brought into the fold.

Chris Hemsworth Says Thor 3 Is “A Ways Away”

Back in January, Thor: The Dark World co-writer Christopher Yost and Marvel Studios senior vice president of production and development Craig Kyle were tapped to pen the screenplay for Thor 3, but not much has been heard of the project since. At the time, we expected it to get a 2016 release date, but with Captain America 3 slated for May 6th and Doctor Strange all but confirmed for July 8th of that year, it looks like the earliest we'll see Thor 3 is in 2017.

J.R. Ramirez To Play Wildcat On Arrow

Over the weekend, we heard that DC Comics character Ted Grant a.k.a. Wildcat would be making his way to The CW's Arrow, but we didn't have any casting or plot information to go along with the news. Now, Deadline has solved that little dilemma for us, as they're reporting that Power and House of Payne alum J.R. Ramirez will play the boxer-turned-vigilante in a recurring role.

Weather Wizard And Professor Zoom Confirmed For The Flash

This won't be the most earth-shattering report to come out of San Diego Comic-Con, because we already knew that these characters would appear on the upcoming CW series The Flash, but confirmation has come through that Flash villains Weather Wizard and Professor Zoom (also known as Reverse-Flash) will be a recurring part of the show's first season.
