Warner Brothers pulled out all the stops on Saturday morning by opening their Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. The highly anticipated Man of Steel sequel wasn’t scheduled to make an appearance at the convention, but we knew they couldn’t resist showing fans something, and oh, show something they did!

Not only did Zack Snyder bring out the film’s trio of stars, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot, but he revealed the first official image of Gadot as Wonder Woman and showed off some great teaser footage. There unfortunately isn’t a high quality video available, and the footage likely won’t be officially released for a while, but we’ve managed to find a leaked copy, which you can view below in all of its fuzzy yet epic glory.

The footage features Affleck as Batman, in an armored Batsuit akin to the one from Frank Miller’s seminal The Dark Knight Returns graphic novel. He’s on a rooftop in Gotham, and turns on the Batsignal to reveal Superman in the sky, his eyes glowing red, apparently ready for a brawl.

Needless to say, the crowd went nuts for the footage, and quelled much of the discord and debate surrounding the film. After a year of controversial casting announcements and divisive reactions to unfounded rumors, it’s refreshing to finally see something official, and something awesome, from the film.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on May 6th, 2016. It stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Callan Mulvey, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Scoot McNairy, Holly Hunter, Tao Okamoto, and Jeremy Irons.
