Remember when the door of the Millennium Falcon fell and broke Harrison Ford's leg, and I said that it was likely no big deal? Well, today it apparently became a big deal, because new rumors suggest that the injury may not only bench Ford for longer than the eight weeks we originally expected, but delay Star Wars: Episode VII's release date as well, pushing it into an already overcrowded 2016.

True Blood Season Premiere Review: “Jesus Gonna Be Here” (Season 7, Episode 1)
With summer officially upon us and most of television's hottest shows on hiatus until the fall, it's time to check back in with our fang-banging friends down in Bon Temps, that pesky little town where vampires, werewolves, witches and a hodgepodge of other supernatural creatures run amok. It's been an absolutely crazy run for this little guilty pleasure, but True Blood is getting the true death after this year, and judging by the season seven premiere, it's going to be one hell of a farewell.

Those of you who've been spending the last thirteen years perfecting your Blue Steel look for Derek Zoolander's return to the big screen will have to wait a bit longer to show it off, because it doesn't look like the long-gestating sequel's coming anytime soon, if at all. The last we heard about Zoolander 2 was two years ago, and despite Ben Stiller's desire to return to the dangerous world of male modelling, no real progress has been made on the follow-up since then.

Guy Pearce Wants To Return For Prometheus 2
Ridley Scott's Prometheus had its fair share of problems, but the casting of Guy Pearce as overly ambitious and power-hungry Peter Weyland wasn't one of them. Sure, he may have been encumbered by some less-than-stellar age makeup, but the actor made quite the impression with the small part he played in the proceedings. He also truly shined as a young Weyland in the TED Talk viral video that was used to promote the film.

Guardians Of The Galaxy’s Karen Gillan Wants To Play Spider-Girl
According to Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach, producers on Sony's The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, we won't be seeing anyone don the red and blue spandex other than Peter Parker, despite there being several comic book characters who have taken on the moniker of Spider-Man over the years (as well as Andrew Garfield's desire to "pass the torch" to someone like Miles Morales). This proclamation has been met with much chagrin from fans, especially considering Sony's plans at creating a "shared" cinematic universe around the wall crawler. He's the only superhero the studio owns the rights to, which is why we're seeing villain-centric spin-offs like Sinister Six and Venom in the pipeline.
