Prometheus Writer Signs On For Doctor Strange, Jared Leto Confirmed For Shortlist
Oddly enough, Marvel Studios has yet to officially announce that they're working on bringing Doctor Strange to the big screen, but all signs point towarsd a desire to put it on the fast track and release it sometime in 2016. Sinister director Scott Derrickson is at the helm (though, that too, is missing an "official" confirmation), and we've already heard that they're looking at actors like Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hardy for the titular role.

Despite good reviews and unrelenting love from fans, the first two Hellboy films from Guillermo del Toro failed to strike gold at the box office, which has unfortunately kept a third film from gaining any traction. The first one earned $99 million on its $66 million budget, while Hellboy II: The Golden Army grossed a little more at $160 million, but cost a bit more too, landing in the $85 million range.

X-Men: Apocalypse To Take Place Ten Years After X-Men: Days Of Future Past
It looks as if the X-Men franchise is going to continue its trend of time-hopping for its next instalment, X-Men: Apocalypse. While the original trilogy took place in the present day, the films have jumped around considerably since then. Origins: Wolverine went from the American Revolutionary War to the 1970s, First Class took us to 1962, The Wolverine jumped from 1945 to the present day, and Days of Future Past went from the near future to 1973. Back in March, director Bryan Singer revealed that Apocalypse would explore (and destroy) the 1980s, and we now know exactly when that will be.
