First Look At Sean Pertwee As Alfred In Gotham

With Fox's Gotham pilot currently filming in New York City, we've seen a host of new images (both official and non-official) hit the Web, giving us our first look at the new interpretation of iconic Batman characters. Set photos have shown us Ben McKenzie as Detective Jim Gordon, as well as a not-yet-orphaned Bruce Wayne. Fox has been slowly releasing official promo images and character profiles over the last few days, the first of which were Donal Logue's Harvey Bullock and newcomer Camren Bicondova as a young Selina Kyle.

Prometheus 2 Gets New Writer And 2016 Release Date

Prometheus, Ridley Scott's much anticipated return to not only the science fiction genre, but to the Alien franchise that he set into motion, was met with a divisive reaction from fans and critics. Many lauded the film for its spectacular production design, horror elements, and Michael Fassbender's performance as the android David. Others criticized it for a lack of answers and frustratingly indirect ties to Alien. Even with the mixed reception, Prometheus grossed over $400 million at the box office and of course, a sequel was quickly set into motion.

Iron Man 3 Composer To Score Avengers: Age Of Ultron

One thing I've noticed about Marvel Studios is that despite releasing films that influence the entire superhero genre, the music in their movies is very forgettable. Only The Avengers has a theme that I can hum from memory, and even that takes some serious thinking.

Fox's Jim Gordon-centric series, Gotham, is currently filming in New York City and we've been seeing a steady stream of both official and non-official images hit the Web over the last couple of days. From Ben McKenzie in action as a clean shaven detective Gordon to an official look at Donal Logue as Gordon's corrupt partner Harvey Bullock, we've seen quite a bit. Now, the Gotham promotional campaign continues as we get a first official image of newcomer Camren Bicondova as young Selina Kyle.

Fox Gives Wolverine And Fantastic Four Sequels 2017 Release Dates

There used to be a time when movie sequels were announced after the preceding film came out. That time is clearly behind us, as studios are now releasing more big budget tentpole films each year than they know what to do with, and therefore have to battle for release dates, announcing them years in advance. We already know when Marvel's Phase Three films will arrive (and don't even know what they all are yet), we have our calendars marked for two more Amazing Spider-Man sequels, and are currently waging bets about who will win the box office battle between Captain America 3 and Batman Vs. Superman.

Brian Michael Bendis’ Powers TV Show Coming To Playstation Network

Remember the days when our electronic devices merely did the things they were invented for? Phones were used to call people, TVs were used to watch TV, and video game consoles were used for, well, video games. All of that is rapidly changing, as our phones now act as computers, our TV sets now act as home theaters, and our video game consoles now act as entertainment centers. This has also led to a wave of independently produced television series, first on services like Netflix, then spreading like wildfire to places like Hulu, Amazon, and XBOX. Now, Sony is looking to get into the TV-making business as they have just announced that they'll be bringing their first original series to the Playstation Network.

Arrow Review: “Suicide Squad” (Season 2, Episode 16)

Arrow has been building up the debut of the fan-favorite Suicide Squad all season long, and things finally came to fruition this week. We knew that following up an episode like last week’s “The Promise” would not be easy, and though “Suicide Squad” isn't quite as good, it does succeed in fleshing out the Arrow/DC universe just a bit more, while finally giving Diggle something to do other than sit around the Arrow Cave looking confused at Felicity’s techno-jargon. So, with that in mind, the episode was a rather enjoyable one. The writers even managed to give it a reason for existing by tying it in nicely with the overarching Deathstroke story that we’re all anxiously waiting for.

Marvel fans got quite the treat tonight with the TV special Marvel Studios: Assembling A Universe. Packed with behind the scenes footage, interviews, and press junket coverage, the one-hour special gave us an inside look at how the studio has crafted their ever-expanding shared cinematic universe, film by film. Lucky for us, it all ended with the first official look at Avengers: Age Of Ultron, in the form of some exciting new concept art.
