True Detective Director Cary Fukanaga Weighs In On Clues And Unanswered Questions
Anyone who's been on the internet over the last two months has seen the infectious attention that True Detective has received over the course of its first season. If you thought that that talk would subside now that the show is over, you are incredibly mistaken. Robot Chicken Director Chris McKay Will Assemble The LEGO Movie 2
When The LEGO Movie was announced a couple of years ago, many of us were skeptical about how the beloved little bricks could be brought to the big screen, and admittedly assumed the worst. Luckily, the film ended up being incredibly fun and entertaining, acting as more of a love letter to LEGO than a two hour commercial for the product. This was largely due to the duo hired to bring the film to life, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who are now have three massive hits on their filmography, after Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street.

Sinister Director Scott Derrickson On Shortlist For Doctor Strange
The Marvel marketing machine is now in full swing, promoting the company's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but, as always, our interests lie more in what's further down the road. The studio is notorious for planning years in advance, and one film they've been talking about for some time now is Doctor Strange. We know Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige is excited about it, and though the movie hasn't even been officially announced yet, we recently heard that a shortlist of directors had emerged.

The New Trailer For Devil’s Knot May Help With True Detective Withdrawal
Devil's Knot is the fifth film that's been made about the true story of the West Memphis Three. What sets this tale about the infamous 1993 murders apart, however, is its well-known cast, led by Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth. A dramatization of the true-crime book Devil's Knot: The True Story of the West Memphis Three by Mara Leveritt, the movie, from Canadian director Atom Egoyan (Chloe, The Sweet Hereafter), will focus on the three teens accused of brutally slaying three eight-year old boys in Memphis, Arkansas.

Believe Series Premiere Review: “Pilot” (Season 1, Episode 1)
J.J. Abrams and Alfonso Cuarón are two of the most exciting and respected filmmakers working today, and their names are often seen as an undeniable sign of quality. Abrams is known for being behind some of the most unique and mythology-heavy television shows of the last decade (Alias, Lost, and Fringe, to name a few), while Cuarón is recognized for his incredible filmography and that nice golden Best Director Oscar that now sits on his shelf for Gravity. So, when it was announced that the duo would be teaming up to produce a show on NBC called Believe, fans of the filmmakers were, as expected, incredibly excited.

Jon Favreau Hopes To Make Magic Kingdom After The Jungle Book
Jon Favreau has become quite the hot commodity in Hollywood these days, after solidifying his place as a genre filmmaker with his two Iron Man movies, which collectively grossed $1.2 billion at the box office. He followed those up with Cowboys & Aliens, which wasn't as successful, then did the unthinkable and stepped away from the limelight to work on a smaller, more personal passion project: Chef, which just debuted at SXSW (read our review). Now that that's out of his system, it seems that he's going back to big budget fare as he will be at the helm of the live action Jungle Book adaptation for Disney.

Terry Crews Is Interested In Playing Luke Cage For Marvel’s Netflix Shows
It's a great time to be a Marvel fan, as we have an ever-expanding slew of films to look forward to, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man, to name just those with official release dates. On the TV side of things, Marvel already has Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC, and will soon be jumping into the streaming world as well, with a 52-episode deal over at Netflix.
