By now, we've covered the battle between Snowpiercer director Bong Joon-Ho and producer Harvey Weinstein over the U.S. release of the movie quite extensively. The fight has struck a chord with movie fans not only because Bong Joon-Ho is an accomplished director with a track record of putting out excellent films without Hollywood's interference, but also because it seems like a textbook example of Hollywood dumbing down films for American audiences who are maybe a little bit tired of having their intelligence underestimated.

Simon Pegg Gets Paranoid In Trailer For A Fantastic Fear Of Everything
Simon Pegg has been a busy man lately. He co-wrote and starred in one of 2013's best comedies, The World's End, and he'll be spending 2014 filming the Terry Jones-directed Almost Anything, the Christopher McQuarrie-directed Mission Impossible 5, and hopefully the who-knows-who-will-be-directing-it next Star Trek movie if all goes well. Lest anyone should forget about him in the meantime, though, he is also starring in A Fantastic Fear of Everything, a smaller-profile British comedy about a guy who's afraid of a thing or two.

Sony To Expand On The Amazing Spider-Man Movies With Venom And The Sinister Six
With all the villains that Sony is cramming into The Amazing Spider-Man 2, it was really a matter of time before there were just too many of them for Spidey to handle on his own. Now, in a move that should come as a surprise to no one, Sony has announced spin-off movies featuring Venom and The Sinister Six, some of the wall crawler's fiercest arch-enemies. These films will be in addition to future films films bearing The Amazing Spider-Man name, so Peter Parker will not be the main focus of those projects, although there's still a pretty good chance he'll drop in, so to speak.

Indiana Jones Producer Hints At Sequel
