The film stars Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw and was very successful when it opened up in theaters, grossing over $470 million worldwide. It helped establish blockbuster filmmaking and even managed to take home a few Oscars.
Final Destination 5 is one of the stronger entries because it finally understands what the audience wants. It amps up the violence and really uses the 3D correctly.
