Rock Band Rivals Hands-On Preview
Harmonix dropped an interesting tidbit of news for Rock Band 4 at E3 last month with the announcement of Rock Band Rivals, the first full-fledged expansion pack for the latest in their iconic rhythm game series. Unfortunately, they didn't provide details beyond pricing and a revamped guitar controller, with employees later saying they'd ultimately chosen to pull back the curtain after a little more development time.

Korean Overwatch Players Detail Competitive Play And More
Nearly a month after release, Overwatch is continuing to receive a lot of attention. While Blizzard continues to plug away at plans for new maps and characters, the game's first major addition, that being a long-desired Competitive Play mode, is still scheduled to launch by the end of the month. To test the feature out, Blizzard has opened a "Public Test Realm" in Korea, which functions similarly to an open beta, and naturally, players who have given this a try are already sharing details.

Rhythm Heaven Megamix Now Available Digitally For 3DS
Nintendo revealed during their E3 Treehouse Live stream yesterday that Rhythm Heaven Megamix, the latest entry in their quirky rhythm game franchise, is available for purchase on the 3DS eShop right away. The game was released last year in Japan, and while confirmed for localization several months ago, had been without a firm release date up to this point, making its launch all the more surprising.

Crash Bandicoot Trilogy Being Remastered For PS4
Sony has just announced during their E3 presentation that, at long last, the iconic Crash Bandicoot will return, with his original trilogy of classic 90s platformers being "remastered from the ground up." No additional details were provided, but we can definitely infer from the announcement that the release will be comprised of the original 1996 Crash Bandicoot, 1997's Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and 1998's Crash Bandicoot: Warped.

Microsoft Announces Several New Xbox Live Social Features
During their E3 conference, Microsoft just announced some new features being added to the Xbox Live service later this year. One of the biggest new additions will be Arena, a new social platform focused on tournament play, from registration and competition to spectating. Popular multiplayer games Smite and World of Tanks will add Arena support, along with future titles from EA Sports.
