Professor Layton Spinoff Lady Layton Announced For 3DS And Smartphones
Many DS and 3DS owners have become familiar with the Professor Layton series at this point. Developed by Level-5 of Yo-kai Watch and Ni no Kuni fame, the handheld franchise combined point and click adventure mechanics with hundreds of brainteasers over six entries across Nintendo handhelds. After six entries and a crossover with Phoenix Wright, the series was put on the backburner for several years, outside of developers saying they were open to the idea of eventually continuing it with a new lead character.

Blizzard Confirms Plans To Add More Overwatch Characters To Heroes Of The Storm

San Diego Comic-Con wasn't just the home for big movie and TV news this year, as Sega hosted a present last night celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Things have been pretty quiet for the series lately, with the handheld spinoff Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice being the only confirmed new entry for some time. As a result, many were expecting Sega to announce something noteworthy for the series that night, and that's exactly what happened.

Rock Band Rivals Hands-On Preview
Harmonix dropped an interesting tidbit of news for Rock Band 4 at E3 last month with the announcement of Rock Band Rivals, the first full-fledged expansion pack for the latest in their iconic rhythm game series. Korean Overwatch Players Detail Competitive Play And More
Nearly a month after release, Overwatch is continuing to receive a lot of attention. While Blizzard continues to plug away at plans for new maps and characters, the game's first major addition, that being a long-desired Competitive Play mode, is still scheduled to launch by the end of the month. To test the feature out, Blizzard has opened a "Public Test Realm" in Korea, which functions similarly to an open beta, and naturally, players who have given this a try are already sharing details.
