It was reported yesterday that Game of Thrones star Kristofer Hivju had joined the cast of Justice League as an Ancient Atlantean king, but it turns out that those reports were incorrect. While on set, several journalists saw concept art featuring the actor's likeness, hence why it was assumed he had quietly joined the superhero ensemble at some point. However, Warner Bros. reached out to them to clear things up, and it turns out that he won't be in Justice League after all.

For the show's fifth year, The CW will introduce an entirely new character who has previously been compared to The Wire's Stringer Bell.
Ever since entering production yesterday, Jon Watts' Spider-Man: Homecoming has swung into an absolute casting frenzy. It seems like every few hours a new actor is revealed to be joining the massive cast. Earlier today we told you that both Hannibal Buress and Selenis Leyva were on board for the reboot and now, we're hearing that Beasts of No Nation breakout Abraham Attah has a role in the film as well.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens star John Boyega is now playing in the big leagues, with the young actor being offered role after role in numerous high profile projects. Shooting is already underway on Spider-Man: Homecoming, as proven by those recent set photos we saw yesterday, but the cast continues to grow, with word that stand-up comedian Hannibal Buress has now signed on in an undisclosed role.
