When it was revealed a few years ago that Fox were introducing their own version of Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past, the vast majority of fans assumed that the studio had crammed him into the movie at the last minute in a bid to beat Marvel Studios to the punch (who had at the time already revealed that the speedster would be part of Avengers: Age of Ultron).
The first season of Legends of Tomorrow wrapped up with a major tease about the Justice Society of America becoming part of the time travelling spinoff series, and further evidence for that being the case has surfaced today in the form of a new casting addition. The Ghostbusters reboot continues to divide the opinions of fans, and if you're among those who have already decided that you won't enjoy the Paul Feig-helmed release, chances are these TV spots won't change your mind. They do, however, offer up plenty of new footage with both the movie's action and humour highlighted.
Deadline is reporting today that director Jim Mickle has struck a deal to helm an untitled thriller for STX Entertainment based off a script by Daniel Casey.
It's not often that an actor is replaced in a TV series, but Gotham is currently searching for someone new to take over the role of Poison Ivy for season three. The young Clare Foley has played the character over the course of the Batman prequel's first two seasons, but it now appears as if Fox wants to take things in a vastly different direction.
While Suicide Squad will end the summer blockbuster season in style this August, 2016's final comic book adaptation will kick off the winter this November when Doctor Strange is released. It's been quite a few months since we've seen anything from the Sorcerer Supreme's first solo outing, but now star Mads Mikkelsen has shed some light on what we should expect.
