The CW has released the first images from next week's instalment of The Flash, and it looks like Black Siren will be making her presence felt in a big way here. X-Men: Apocalypse is a movie with a very long list of characters, but it very nearly had one less mutant. Talking to Cinema Blend in a recent interview, producer and writer Simon Kinberg confirmed that an earlier version of the script had James McAvoy's Professor X recruited by En Sabah Nur to join Angel, Magneto, and Storm.
Not long after taking to Twitter to praise the cast and crew of Wonder Woman, director Patty Jenkins has shared a new behind the scenes photo which offers up a great new look at Gal Gadot suited up as the Amazonian warrior. Tonight's episode of The Flash is going to be a big one, especially as last week's instalment left us on quite the cliffhanger as it was seemingly revealed that Harrison Wells' attempt to give Barry Allen back his speed had in actual fact killed him. Something which further complicates matters is the fact that The Avengers have been split into two, so does that mean each release will focus on a separate group of Earth's Mightiest Heroes?
The first reviews for X-Men: Apocalypse are proving to be pretty mixed so far, but one character who seems to be faring well is Cyclops (Tye Sheridan). Played by James Marsden in the original X-Men trilogy, that version of the hero received a fairly tepid response from comic book fans, so it's a relief to hear that director Bryan Singer has handled him a little better this time around.
Deadline is reporting that Gael García Bernal has been cast as Zorro in the upcoming reboot Z, which currently has Jonás Cuarón on board to write and direct.
Are you ready for a new TV show about Superman's...grandfather? That's the premise of Krypton, the long in development Syfy series which has finally been given a pilot order by the network.
Taken from an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone, a new image from Suicide Squad has been revealed today which offers up a fresh look at The Joker (Jared Leto) and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie). Their relationship promises to be one of the most intriguing parts of the DC Comics adaptation, and this only serves to further tease what's to come.
