We've been hearing rumours about this for a while, but Disney confirmed today that Marvel's Inhumans will no longer be released on July 12th, 2019. This doesn't come as a particularly huge surprise considering the fact that the project clearly isn't a priority for the already very busy Marvel Studios, but should we be concerned about it not having a new release date?
The CW has released the promo for next week's episode of Legends of Tomorrow, and it features Rip Hunter and his team heading into action against Vandal Savage for what looks an awful lot like their final confrontation. Obviously though, with three episodes left to go after this one, there are no doubt still plenty of other twists and turns on the way.
Deadpool has now grossed over $750 million worldwide, and it's fair to say that neither fans nor 20th Century Fox ever expected numbers like that. The latter were in fact so concerned about the chances of the movie's success that before it started shooting, they slashed the budget, and that inevitably forced the team working on it to make some changes.
It's been a long time since we've heard anything about Krypton, the Syfy TV series which was first announced around eighteen months ago. In fact, despite a somewhat positive update from Man of Steel scribe David S. Goyer, it seemed as if this was another DC Comics TV series (like Titans and The CW's Amazon revolving around a young Wonder Woman) which would never get made.
Tired of Captain America: Civil War TV spots yet? It's pretty amazing (no pun intended) that Marvel has kept Spider-Man under wraps after sharing so many of these - there's already been 20+ so far - but this one is well worth a watch as it does a great job of teasing what's to come in this highly anticipated movie.
With Captain America: Civil War right around the corner, it's easy to forget that X-Men: Apocalypse isn't too far behind. With Bryan Singer bringing in one of the team's most iconic villains and dialling up the action to 11, this movie could very well be the comic book adaptation which steals the show this year.
Had Alan Taylor's Terminator Genisys not been a critical failure and a commercial disappointment, the plan was to release an additional two instalments in the trilogy and even a tie-in TV series. However, after grossing only $440 million worldwide (a big chunk of which came from China, and not North America), Paramount is said to be "re-adjusting" their plans.
The first official images have been released from the April 28th episode of Legends of Tomorrow, and as you can see, they feature a tense confrontation between the villainous Vandal Savage and his daughter. However, it appears as if their relationship is far from a healthy one, and that could end up working to the team's advantage.
Following the release of a series of international character posters focusing on the members of Team Cap and Team Iron Man, the final two are here, and they put the spotlight squarely on Captain America: Civil War cast members Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) and Paul Bettany (The Vision).
