Following the first screening of Deadpool last night (which was met with overwhelmingly positive reviews from fans in attendance), Ryan Reynolds took part in a Q&A which saw him shed some light on both this character and possibly the future of R-Rated superhero movies at Fox. Asked how he feels Deadpool could change the game in more adult orientated adaptations getting the green light, he revealed:

CBS has released the first promo for next week's episode of Supergirl, and it offers up a first look at the villainous White Martians. They're among the Justice League's greatest villains in the comics, but will be targeting Martian Manhunter in this instalment of the hit series. That hopefully means we're going to see even more of Martian Manhunter in action after he took flight with Supergirl last night.
It's been revealed today that Johnathon Schaech will play Jonah Hex in the first season of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. The character is set to appear in the eleventh episode, with the possibility to then become a recurring presence.
Arrow returns to The CW tomorrow night, and the network has now released a two minute sizzle reel which offers up an idea of what's to come in the second half of the show's fourth season. There are a lot of unexpected reveals here, including the return of Katana. Most fans had assumed that the character's role in Suicide Squad meant we wouldn't see her in Arrow again, so this is definitely exciting news.
While 2016 is certainly going to be an exciting year for comic book movies, 2017 might just have it beat thanks to the release of the likes of Justice League and Spider-Man. However, perhaps the most significant superhero adaptation on the way next year is Wonder Woman as the character finally makes her big screen debut.
Following the release of those very unique character posters, Warner Bros. has today unveiled yet another Suicide Squad one sheet. This one uses live action images to assemble Task Force X, giving us a great new look at villains like The Joker and Harley Quinn in the process. While the design itself is only ok, the shots of these characters are excellent, and this is a nice primer for the premiere of a new trailer tonight.
Deadpool 2
Alright, folks. It's time to put any and all fears to rest in regards to Deadpool. It looks like Fox did it. They took the beloved comic book character, gave him his own R-rated outing and absolutely knocked it out of the freaking park. By all accounts, the Ryan Reynolds-led flick is a complete success, and we couldn't be happier about it.
Fans who attended the special Deadpool fan events in New York and Los Angeles today got a huge surprise when the exclusive footage they were promised ended up being the entire movie. We'll no doubt start hearing some reactions later on via social media, but for now, yet another new poster for the highly anticipated movie has been released.
We first met Mike Colter's Luke Cage in the first season of Jessica Jones, but the character will be getting his own series a little later this year. Like that and Daredevil before it, Power Man's show will no doubt be crammed full of great Easter Eggs paying homage to his comic book adventures and future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
