It's been said for years that part of Ben Affleck's deal with Warner Bros. when he signed up to star as Batman included him taking the helm of a solo movie featuring the Caped Crusader, but the last we heard about that was during the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con when Deadline reported that he was co-writing the screenplay with comic book scribe Geoff Johns.
With season two of Daredevil set to premiere in March and Luke Cage currently shooting, it's odd that we still haven't had any casting news for Iron Fist. With a new trailer set to arrive this week, it's clear that Warner Bros. is about to kick off the marketing campaign for what is perhaps one of 2016's most anticipated films: David Ayer's Suicide Squad.
