We're less than 24 hours away now from the release of the new trailer for Logan, and the movie's Instagram account has once again shared another black and white teaser image to help whet our appetite. This one is rather appropriately tagged "Waiting," something we've all been doing for our next look at the highly anticipated release.
It was just yesterday that theories about Pierce Brosnan possibly taking on the role of Cable in Deadpool 2 first surfaced thanks to some very interesting photos on social media. However, they were far from confirmation of anything and as of right now, we still don't know for sure who'll play the iconic mutant. Sure, the former 007 would look pretty cool in the role, but nothing has been made official and 20th Century Fox seems intent on keeping quiet on the matter.
In the first half of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s fourth season, Ghost Rider took centre stage in a big way. However, much to the chagrin of some fans, it was the Robbie Reyes version of the character who was given the spotlight, and while his role in the Marvel series was loved by most, many would still have preferred to see Johnny Blaze as the Spirit of Vengeance.
Earlier today, Sony confirmed that it will be the Miles Morales version of Spider-Man who will be featured in their upcoming animated film, which is due for release in 2018. No cast has been announced for the project just yet, and plot details are non-existent, but we do know that it'll be written by The LEGO Movie's Phil Lord, who will also executive produce alongside Chris Miller.
Despite the astounding success of the first film, Deadpool 2 hasn't had the easiest time getting off the ground. A few months back, we heard about the shocking departure of director Tim Miller followed by composer Junkie XL. There were also rumors of trouble behind the scenes with the creative team. Thankfully, those problems were put to rest quite quickly and after John Wick co-director David Leitch was brought on board, everything seemed to get back on track.
This past Sunday, the fourth and potentially final season of BBC's Sherlock came to a close. Overall, it was an uneven outing for a show which has gone awfully downhill in recent years, and the ratings only cemented that fact further. That being said, it's still far from bad television and fans are hoping that "The Final Problem" wasn't the last time the iconic detective will appear on their screens. Or at least, the last time he'll appear in the form of Benedict Cumberbatch.
Aside from the Girl of Steel herself, Supergirl has introduced us to a fair few aliens since launching back in 2015. However, while the likes of J'onn J'onzz and the White Martians have impressed, most of them have been humanoid in appearance. Now, that looks set to change in Kevin Smith's upcoming episode of The CW series, which is titled "Supergirl Lives."
Despite being a villain, Nebula came out of 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy as a firm fan-favourite. That's why James Gunn has given the character a more significant role in the highly anticipated sequel, as the half-sister of Gamora looks set to join Star-Lord and company as part of the ragtag team of cosmic superheroes. How exactly she'll factor into Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 beyond that remains to be seen, but Karen Gillan has confirmed today that she'll also be back for Avengers: Infinity War.
It was during last year's San Diego Comic-Con that we got a first look at the costume which will be worn by Kurt Russell in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and while fans lucky enough to be in attendance were treated to a few scenes of him in action, we've yet to catch so much as a single glimpse of Ego the Living Planet. Until today, that is.
DC Comics has been drawing the line at $2.99 for the vast majority of their titles for some time now, and pretty much every comic book met that price point when Rebirth launched last year. Now, however, that's set to change. While twice monthly seres like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lanterns and Deathstroke will stay at $2.99, the rest are getting an increase.
