Though he started off his career on an extremely promising note thanks to Chronicle, director Josh Trank has had a rough couple of years following the disaster that was Fantastic Four. It's hard for a filmmaker to bounce back from something like that, but Trank seems to determined to do so, as he's now signed on to helm Fonzo.
Suicide Squad received mixed reviews, and it's hard not to wonder whether or not that might have had something to do with the fact it was so heavily altered in the editing room. Since the movie was released back in August, it's been reported that Warner Bros. wanted to lighten up the tone, hence why many scenes from the trailers ended up not making the final cut.
For a very long time, the thought of Spider-Man joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe was nothing more than a fantasy in the minds of fans. That's what made the deal between Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios so surprising, and while the latter's relationship with Fox doesn't seem to be as good, many hope that the Fantastic Four and X-Men could follow the wall-crawler.
When it was revealed that Kaecilius was the lead villain in Doctor Strange, many fans were pretty surprised. After all, the Sorcerer Supreme has many other far more well known foes in the comic books, and among them is a character known as Nightmare. He was actually introduced alongside Strange in the hero's very first appearance.
Yesterday, Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi shared a video detailing the last day of shooting on the movie, and Chris Hemsworth has now followed that up with a photo offering up our best look yet at the costume which will be worn by the God of Thunder. It's actually quite a bit different to past iterations, but not drastically so.
Welcome to the fifth episode of our new, weekly video show: Geek Out. We all know how busy the work week can be, and in the increasingly crowded space of comic book movies and the like, there seems to be a never ending stream of news flowing out on a day to day basis. Casting this, trailer that, rumor here, speculation there - it really does never end and can get very tiresome trying to keep up with it all.
So far, Adrian Chase has been making his presence felt in Arrow as Star City's new District Attorney. However, fans of the comic books will know that he ultimately takes on the persona of Vigilante, and the same now looks set to be the case in the upcoming seventh episode.
In the season three premiere of The Flash, the Flashpoint timeline introduced us to Kid Flash. However, after Wally West was mortally wounded by The Rival, Barry Allen raced back in time and (mostly) set things right. As a result, Wally no longer has powers, something he's struggled to accept despite not knowing about his alternate life.
Tonight's episode of Arrow revolved around Oliver Queen's quest to break Diggle out of military prison, but things look set to become even more intense in next week's instalment as the Emerald Archer finds himself under fire in his day job as mayor after a tortured Wild Dog reveals his secret identity to the villainous Tobias Church. He's been warned by the mysterious Prometheus to leave the Green Arrow alive, but it looks like taking out the mayor is going to be his way of getting around that.
It's already been confirmed that Doctor Strange will appear in Avengers: Infinity War, with his co-star Benedict Wong set to join him. What their role in the film will be remains to be seen, but it's quickly becoming apparent that the Sorcerer Supreme is going to end up playing a key part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving forward.
