It's fair to say that most fans expected something Justice League related at Comic-Con today, especially as the cast of the movie were all spotted arriving in San Diego yesterday! However, it's never easy to predict what will happen, and the actors appearing on stage to answer a few questions could have easily been all Warner Bros. delivered instead of that amazing trailer.
Black Panther doesn't start shooting until early next year, but Marvel Studios doesn't let something like that stop them from blowing the minds of comic book fans! During their Hall H panel earlier today, the studio revealed a key casting addition to the movie and announced who is playing who.
Those lucky enough to be in Hall H today were treated to some early footage from Spider-Man: Homecoming, and while there are no plans to release that online, Marvel Studios were at least kind enough to share a pretty spectacular piece of concept art for the highly anticipated reboot.
There have been rumours and speculation about who will play Captain Marvel for years now, though it eventually became clear that this was a role Marvel Studios would cast when they were good and ready. However, we never even got to see a shortlist because when the trades finally weighed in, it was made clear that Brie Larson was the frontrunner.
It's been a big day for superhero movie trailers from DC, but Marvel has now countered that with the first preview of upcoming FX TV series Legion. To say it looks unique would be an understatement, and while this trippy teaser doesn't exactly make it clear what we should expect in terms of the story, it definitely promises a pretty fun time.
After finding success with the Sherlock Holmes movies, the disappointing box office performance of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. must have come as a surprise to both Warner Bros. and Guy Ritchie. However, the filmmaker is now looking to launch a very different sort of franchise with King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword.
After showing it off to those lucky enough to be in Hall H at this year's Comic-Con, Warner Bros. has released the brand new trailer for Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. This one really puts an emphasis on both the action and magical creatures in the movie, though we also get a much better look at the villain (at least it seems that way) played by Colin Farrell.
Warner Bros. has debuted the very first trailer for Kong: Skull Island today at Comic-Con. The upcoming reboot of the franchise is particularly exciting as it's set to become part of a shared universe for the studio's other monster films, like Godzilla. That won't happen until much further down the road, but for this particular outing, director Jordan Vogt-Roberts looks to have one hell of an adventure in store for us.
Earlier today at San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros. sent the crowd in Hall H into an absolute frenzy. Kicking things off with an unbelievable first trailer for Wonder Woman, the studio soon followed that up with our first look at Justice League. Then, as if all that wasn't enough, they dropped yet another look at David Ayer's Suicide Squad, giving us one last glimpse of the movie before it hits theatres in two weeks' time.
