One of the biggest surprises in that newly released concept art for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was the fact that Gamora was working alongside the superhero team. In the first instalment, she clashed with her "sister" Nebula at the behest of their stepfather Thanos, but it seems as if they'll be putting their differences aside in the follow-up.
You may not remember, but at one point, Thor star Chris Hemsworth was actually a part of the rebooted Star Trek franchise. The actor played Captain Kirk's father in the 2009 film's prologue and now, we're hearing that he may be coming back for the inevitable Star Trek 4.
Season six of The Walking Dead ended on a major cliffhanger as Rick Grimes and his group learned that messing with Negan's Saviors wasn't a wise decision. To assert his dominance over them, the new villain chose one of the survivors to kill with his barbed wire covered baseball bat Lucille, and we'll no doubt learn more about him and his group in season seven (not to mention who exactly he decided to take out).
Despite some scepticism following the first teaser trailer, early word on Star Trek Beyond has been overwhelmingly positive, While J.J. Abrams certainly didn’t skimp on action, this instalment looks even grander in terms of scale, something which is evident from an incredible gallery of hi-res images released by Paramount Pictures today.
A brand new featurette has been released for Jason Bourne, and it takes us behind the scenes of the movie's huge chase sequence which was shot on location on the Las Vegas strip. It features Matt Damon squaring off with Vincent Cassel's villainous character, and includes comments from both them and second unit director Simon Crane.
While the necessity of another Saw movie is debatable, Lionsgate are forging ahead with the next instalment which is set to be released seven years after Saw 3D (also known as Saw: The Final Chapter) wound up in theaters. That's a huge gap, but the studio has indeed confirmed today that Saw: Legacy will reach the big screen on October 27th, 2017.
Currently doing the press rounds for Men and Chicken, it's no surprise that Mads Mikkelsen has been fielding questions about his role in the upcoming Marvel film Doctor Strange. After all, as one of the first efforts from the studio that will really tackle the more cosmic side of the MCU, it's understandable that there's a lot of intrigue surrounding the Scott Derrickson-helmed movie.
If you're eager for more from Lionsgate's upcoming Power Rangers movie, then you're in luck. The film is coming to Comic-Con next week and in order to prepare us for its arrival there, the studio has now released a batch of character posters to get us acquainted with our new heroes.
Last night in LA a handful of lucky critics got to attend the junket screening for Star Trek Beyond, and while full reviews are still under embargo, a handful of reactions are starting to pour out over social media. For the most part, it seems like everyone enjoyed the film, with the general consensus being that while it's not perfect, it's still a ton of fun.
To be honest, at this point, I was starting to get worried that there wasn't even any "new" footage left from David Ayer's Suicide Squad to show off. Of course, I don't mean that literally, but with all of the trailers, TV spots and clips we've seen thus far, it really does seem like Warner Bros. has given us everything they can before the film hits theatres.
