NFL Cream Of The Crop – Week #4
Forget the fact the replacement refs are borderline goofballs and we never know what we'll get from game to game with these guys, but so far the saying, 'On any given Sunday' really holds true. For the second week in a row our top team tastes defeat, and I can't even give my colleague Dave Gilbert any grief because I would have had the 49ers on top too.

It’s Time For A Different Spin On The Chicago Bears
OK, I’ve had about all I can take of the negativity surrounding the Chicago Bears after their week 2 disaster in Green Bay. The Packers walloped them. The offensive game plan had some holes in it, the offensive line had some holes in it, and apparently Jay Cutler’s head had some holes in it. Time to move on, and time for a different type of look at the Chicago Bears.

2012 Chicago Bears: The Greatest Show On Sod
In 2010 the Chicago Bears hired Mike Martz to be their Offensive Coordinator, with the hope that he would rekindle the magic from his ‘Greatest Show On Turf’ St. Louis Rams days. While the Rams played in the controlled environment of a dome, the Bears play on the comical sod of Soldier Field.

As we head into the second week of NFL action there were a few teams that surprised on kickoff weekend. Did anyone expect the New York Jets offense to explode after idling through preseason? Or for Robert Griffin III to play out of his mind on the road in the Superdome? Or for the Denver Broncos offense to look so smooth guided by their new QB, Peyton Manning?
