About The Author

Lindsay Sperling has A.D.D. and her tastes reflect it. Her movie collection boasts everything from Casablanca to John Tucker Must Die to every season of Sons of Anarchy to-date. She adamantly supported a Veronica Mars Movie (yes, she did make a donation to see it happen..and also possibly for the t-shirt), hopes that the Fast & Furious franchise continues far into the future, and has read every popular YA book series turned film in recent years (except Harry Potter..). When she's not on an indie film set or educating the youth of America, she uses her time arguably productive as a freelance writer.

Pretty Little Liars Review: “Scream For Me” (Season 5, Episode 8)
Aria (Lucy Hale) is apparently channeling all her guilt about Shana and directing it at Hanna (Ashley Benson) on this episode of Pretty Little Liars. It was only a matter of time before she found something to focus on besides her own grief, and Hanna's current penchant for alcohol makes her an easy target. What it also does, is make it that much easier for A to get what she wants.

Tyrant Review: “What The World Needs Now” (Season 1, Episode 6)
Tyrant may have looked like it was beginning to lose some of its steam in the previous episode, but "What The World Needs Now" may as well have been titled, "What The Show Needs Now." The writers hit it out of the park with a surprise ending that will change everything for the main characters, and possibly incite even more chaos than what Abbudin experienced under its former leadership. All viewers can do now is sit back and wait to see how things work themselves out.

Teen Wolf Review: “Orphaned” (Season 4, Episode 6)
Teen Wolf made a big deal about Scott's (Tyler Posey) relationship with his father in season three, but this season there hasn't been much head way in that department. This episode turned its attention briefly back to that arena to show in what capacity his involvement in the family structure could benefit Scott's current situation, or more aptly, his mother's. It's been a while since the difficulties associated with Melissa being a single mother, mostly on the financial front, have been included in the narrative, but it's definitely a convenient excuse for Scott's father to become a more involved member of the family.

MTV Renews Teen Wolf For Season 5 Live At Comic-Con
MTV announced during the Teen Wolf panel, this past Friday at Comic-Con, that the hit supernatural drama series would be retuning for a fifth season. The network made a similar announcement prior to season four at the New York Comic-Con convention, and the method of delivery is still a big hit with the fans.

Pretty Little Liars Review: “The Silence Of E. Lamb” (Season 5, Episode 7)
Pretty Little Liars has spent four seasons building up the suspense surrounding Alison's (Sasha Pieterse) disappearance, but it has also set her up as a character with very few redeeming qualities. The further we go down this storyline involving Alison's return to Rosewood, the more it seems like Ali is really the ultimate antagonist. On top of causing her friends some substantial emotional trauma over the years, both before and after her disappearance, she isn't satisfied with keeping that in the past. On "The Silence of E. Lamb" viewers see once again that Ali is deliberately misleading the Liars - sneaking around town, perpetuating her kidnapping story despite the holes in it, and generally being the bossy teen she's always been.

Tyrant Review: “Hail Mary” (Season 1, Episode 5)
Tyrant is subtle. It's not a show that hits you over the head with overt action sequences. It doesn't involve itself with long, drawn out melodramatic story arcs. It hasn't been concerned with the minute details. Instead, Tyrant is lulling viewers into a sense of security with Adam Rayner's character at the helm, struggling with his inner-demons to make a difference in a country, and family, desperately in need of a change in leadership.

Teen Wolf Review: “I.E.D.” (Season 4, Episode 5)
Teen Wolf was firing on all cylinders on tonight's episode, and it's the best we've seen this season (maybe the entire series). The toned down look of the show that dominated the first few episodes took a back seat, and Teen Wolf made it very clear that Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) wasn't the only thing that fans can brand as explosive. The natural reset that the show went through has opened up a realm of possibilities and the writers are taking full advantage of that by introducing us to a new, improved version of the show we've already been captivated with.
