Lindsay Sperling has A.D.D. and her tastes reflect it. Her movie collection boasts everything from Casablanca to John Tucker Must Die to every season of Sons of Anarchy to-date. She adamantly supported a Veronica Mars Movie (yes, she did make a donation to see it happen..and also possibly for the t-shirt), hopes that the Fast & Furious franchise continues far into the future, and has read every popular YA book series turned film in recent years (except Harry Potter..). When she's not on an indie film set or educating the youth of America, she uses her time arguably productive as a freelance writer.

Pretty Little Liars Review: “Taking This One To The Grave” (Season 5, Episode 12)
Even before viewers tuned in to tonight's summer finale of Pretty Little Liars, the network promised a tragic ending to a somewhat lackluster first half of the season. They advertised this heart pounding episode as the fatale finale, and that about sums it up. After the Liars band together, siding against Alison (Sasha Pieterse) in a valiant effort to make things right and protect themselves (err, mostly the latter), they needed some reinforcement. The ideal ally is Mona (Janel Parrish), but despite her bravado, Ali is one fear she was never able to overcome - no matter how she dressed it up - even in the end.

Tyrant Season Finale Review: “Gone Fishing” (Season 1, Episode 10)
The season finale of Tyrant clocked in at 50 minutes and one second, and the writers didn't waste even that last second. After Jamal (Ashraf Barhom) played his part to a tee on last week's episode, maybe a little too well, Barry (Adam Rayner) was confident that he would succeed in his undertaking. The plan was moving along as expected, his family was packed and on the verge of getting out of harm's way, and at least Barry would have a final memorable day with his brother before everything hit the fan. Slowly the entire plan unraveled and by the time the screen faded to black tonight, we hadn't quite reached the extent of worse case scenario, but the characters were all pretty close to it.

Teen Wolf Review: “Monstrous” (Season 4, Episode 10)
Teen Wolf finally revealed the identity of the benefactor on last week's episode, but that didn't signify the end of the excitement. Tonight's episode, "Monstrous" started out with a fast paced game of hide and seek with two potential new victims of the deadpool and an onslaught of eager assassins, and kept the momentum going with forty-two minutes of heart-pounding excitement.

Exclusive Interview With Cherien Dabis On May In The Summer
Writer/director Cherien Dabis follows up her debut film Amreeka with the equally entrancing coming of age tale, May in the Summer. The film follows Dabis's character, May, as she returns to Jordan and her cultural roots in preparation for her upcoming nuptials. Along the way, May discovers that her reservations about becoming a wife stem from her parents divorce almost a decade earlier. Once overseas, May is reunited with her two sisters and the siblings go on a journey together to better understand their personal hang-ups while struggling to find some common ground with their very traditional mother and their absentee father.

Tyrant Review: “Gaslight” (Season 1, Episode 9)
Hands down, "Gaslight" was the strongest episode to come out of season one of Tyrant so far. The penultimate hour delivered to viewers a build up to the end that was fully satisfying and a bit disarming, to say the least. Scene after scene, the writers showcased the passion behind the story through strategic interactions between the characters - all of which outshone their previous performances.

Teen Wolf Review: “Perishable” (Season 4, Episode 9)
Teen Wolf left off last week with a fairly large 'what just happened' moment. Lydia (Holland Roden) discovered that her grandmother was responsible for the code that the benefactor uses to communicate with the assassins, and it put a giant question mark over the entire situation. To make matters even more suspicious, Scott (Tyler Posey) discovered that the person responsible for confirming the supernatural deaths in order for a pay out to happen must also be a banshee - thus working remotely. But, Teen Wolf completely blew our minds tonight when they revealed who the benefactor really was, and I have to say it, I didn't see that one coming.

Pretty Little Liars Review: “A Dark Ali” (Season 5, Episode 10)
Pretty Little Liars gave fans a much needed coping episode as the writers gear up for the summer finale. The first half of season five has went by pretty quickly, even though most of the episodes recently (gripping 100th episode aside) have come across as more of the filler variety. The Liars have had a lot of sordid opinions about their current predicament, but haven't really seemed ready to act on any of the potential plans that they've bandied about - until now.

Tyrant Review: “Meet The New Boss” (Season 1, Episode 8)
Tyrant ended last week's episode on an unsettling note, with Barry (Adam Rayner) finishing off what Jamal (Ashraf Barhom) started with the Sheik, and then making a rather bold statement regarding his brother's ability, or rather inability, to run the country. "Meet the New Boss" immediately followed up on that sentiment and established a road map to where the rest of the season is headed. This episode also took the opportunity to create a sense of urgency, replacing the more glacial pace that had set in and alleviating some of the frustrations that viewers were starting to feel as the season sunk into a slight lull.

Teen Wolf Review: “Time Of Death” (Season 4, Episode 8)
Teen Wolf has created a general grey area when it comes to death. In "Time of Death," fans watch for the second time as Scott (Tyler Posey) takes his turn advancing the narrative by faking his own. Last season, he was one of three characters who temporarily died to ascertain the location of the Nemeton in order to save innocent lives and take down the Darach. On tonight's episode, the plan was more or less the same - draw out the benefactor and save all the local supernaturals who haven't already been crossed off the deadpool list.
