You may have thought we'd gotten every reveal we were going to get with J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens as we're so close to release, but this image from one of the tie-in books provides our first official look at the characters played by Iko Uwais and Yayan Ruhian, who are best known for The Raid movies.
The studio behind such superb animated films as Coraline, ParaNorman, and The Boxtrolls has released the first trailer for their next stop-motion feature: Kubo And The Two Strings. This fantasy adventure yarn features the voice talents of Matthew McConaughey, Charlize Theron, Rooney Mara, and Ralph Fiennes, and though we don't get to hear any of 'em in this teaser, there are some stunning visuals on display.
A user over on Reddit has snapped some images from the set of the currently shooting second season of Marvel and Netflix's Daredevil, and they seem to provide a glimpse of Elodie Yung (G.I. JOE: Retaliation) as Elektra Natchios in full costume... albeit a very blurry glimpse! The character was actually briefly shown in the first teaser a while back, but this gives us a better idea of her superhero duds, and she also appears to be carrying one of Elektra's trademark sai.
It's been a big week for trailer debuts so far, and that's set to continue when 20th Century Fox unveils the very first teaser for the next installment in their X-franchise, X-Men: Apocalypse.
Lionsgate has released a couple of new character posters for their upcoming adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s horror parody of the classic Jane Austen period tale, Pride And Prejudice And Zombies. It seems it won't only be the five Bennet sisters – Lydia (Ellie Bamber), Jane (Bella Heathcote), Elizabeth (Lily James), Mary (Millie Brady), and Kitty (Sukie Waterhouse) – that'll be slicing their way through the hordes of the undead, as they'll have a bit of help from two stone-cold badasses: Richard Harrow and Cersei Lannister, A.K.A Boardwalk Empire's Jack Huston and Game Of Thrones' Lena Headey.
As we approach its January premiere, The CW has released the official logo for both Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) that will feature in their Arrow/The Flash spin-off, DC's Legends Of Tomorrow. The avian-style symbol was posted on the network's official Instagram page, and will be used to represent the winged pair as they join their fellow heroes (and villains) to take on the might of the immortal Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).
When Will Smith signed on for Suicide Squad to play Deadshot, he was apparently pretty excited about DC's plans for their cinematic universe. So excited, in fact, that he agreed to show up multiple times as the character, instead of only just appearing in David Ayer's 2016 film.
Following those first couple of official stills and that poster from earlier today, Warner Bros. has released the very first teaser trailer for David Yates' The Legend Of Tarzan, which stars True Blood actor Alexander Skarsgard in the title role.
The first trailer for the sequel to last year's block-busting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be with us tomorrow, and to whet your appetites we have a brief teaser which contains some action-packed footage. Obviously all 4 of the Heroes in a half-Shell are accounted four, with Leonardo getting the only line of dialogue. There's also a brief glimpse of Megan Fox in a schoolgirl outfit (hey, it's Michael Bay) as the returning April O'Neil, and our first look at one of Shredder's fan-favorite henchmen, Rocksteady, in his mutated rhino form as he tussles with a turtle.
