All your favorites have returned today in these brand new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 photos, which feature Drax, Star-Lord and even Baby Groot (though you'll have to look closely if you hope to spot the adorable little guy). We've only got five photos in total, and none of them are terribly revealing, but it's definitely nice to get another look at both the returning heroes and new character Mantis (who will also be in Avengers: Infinity War).
The first season of Netflix's superb horror drama series, Stranger Things, wrapped up its main storyline in a (mostly) satisfying way, but a lot of questions relating to some of the major characters and the mysterious "Upside Down" lingered. What exactly happened to Eleven? What's up with Will and that demon slug? Will the denizens of Hawkins ever realize that poor Barb is also missing?
Given that Logan will herald Hugh Jackman's last time playing Wolverine, fans have been hoping that before the actor hangs up the adamantium claws for good, we'll get to see him share the screen with Deadpool. Granted, the two characters have appeared together before, in the dreadful X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but the less said about that film the better. A proper team-up is definitely in order for these two but unfortunately, it just doesn't look like it'll happen
Coming off the back of a rather lacklustre first half of a season, it's been hard to muster up much excitement for the return of AMC's The Walking Dead. But the more and more we've been hearing about what's to come in this next batch of episodes, we must say, we're finding ourselves pretty eager to reunite with Rick Grimes and co. as they prepare for their all-out war against Negan.
The first season of AMC's small screen adaptation of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's controversial comic series, Preacher, only loosely adapted the source material over the majority of its 10 episode run. However, as we approached the season finale we began to see some of the more familiar groundwork being laid, and the last hour culminated with our trio of antiheroes hitting the road with the biblical menace of the Saint of Killers hot on their trail.
It looks like Leonardo DiCaprio has found his next film, as Deadline is reporting that Paramount Pictures has acquired The Black Hand, which the actor will both star in and produce through his Appian Way banner. A search for a writer is now underway and Ashley Brucks and Gabby Canton will oversee the project for the studio.
Thought it still hasn't been given an official premiere date, the penultimate season of HBO's mega-popular Game of Thrones is expected to air at some point this summer. Though the previous seasons have all consisted of ten episodes, it's been widely reported that these final two will only make up thirteen altogether (seven for season 7, six for season 8), which could really be looked at as one extra long final season being split in half - with the potential for a suitably massive cliffhanger to boot.
After proving to be Marvel's biggest single character launch to date, an impressive feat to be sure, there's no doubt that a lot of people are eager to revisit Scott Derrickson's Doctor Strange. After all, with the studio having their hands full with a number of projects at the moment - Spider-Man: Homecoming, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, to name but a few - it may be a while before we get a proper sequel.
As Marvel's The Inhumans TV series prepares to begin shooting in Hawaii this month, we may have uncovered our first cast member. We found out a couple of weeks ago that Black Sails director Roel Reine would helm the 2-part IMAX pilot episode for ABC, and early this morning he Tweeted out an image of an IMAX camera test in preparation for the shoot. There's nothing particularly interesting about that in and of itself, but the response from Canadian actress Elysia Rotaru has become grounds for a lot of speculation.
