Though it now has a new title that's quite a mouthful, we're still very intrigued by Luc Besson's Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (seriously, who thought that would be better than just Valerian?). The director may have only made one sci-fi classic in his career with The Fifth Element, but across all of his films he shows off an imaginative, wacky enthusiasm that makes his work a lot of fun to watch, even if the final product doesn't always turn out so well.

A couple of weeks ago it was reported that Zendaya Coleman had landed a main role on Marvel's solo Spider-Man reboot, and now the actress/singer has confirmed as much during an appearance on the Ellen Show.
Spooooooon! A couple of weeks ago we found out that a new live-action TV series based on Ben Edlund's ever-popular superhero spoof character, The Tick, had received a pilot order at Amazon. Fans were disappointed that Patrick Warburton wasn't going to reprise his role from the short-lived Fox show, but something tells me they won't have much of a problem with his replacement.
The review embargo on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is now up and despite those first reactions sounding very positive, the critics don't seem to love the film. While no one is calling it an outright failure, many are citing that it's a bit too busy and cluttered, which we kind of expected.
