Creator Mike Bithell has confirmed that his minimalist and peculiar platformer, Thomas Was Alone, will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Wii U in November. And while we don’t have an exact release date at this stage, it’s understood that all three versions will launch within the same week.
If you were holding onto that faint sliver of hope that Bayonetta 2 would arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One further down the line, Platinum Games has some bad news for you. In an interview with Nintendo Everything, the studio’s Hideki Kamiya stated that the Wii U exclusive will be tethered to Nintendo’s home console indefinitely.
It’s been a full decade since Jigsaw, that all too familiar civil engineer-cum-serial killer, muttered the famous line, “Do you wanna’ play a game?” And so, to celebrate the blood-curdling success of the franchise, Lionsgate is ushering the original Saw back into theaters for a limited time this Halloween.

No, really, this is the last job.

Like it or not, video game adaptations are seemingly back in vogue for Hollywood. Over the next few years, we can expect filmic translations of major pixelated properties such as Splinter Cell, Assassin’s Creed and, in all likelihood, about five more Resident Evil movies. But one of the new kids on the block so to speak is Legendary’s Dead Rising movie, which just yesterday unveiled its full cast.
