It's starting to feel very likely that we'll be seeing the first trailer for Jon Watts' Spider-Man: Homecoming well before it's scheduled to arrive. As you no doubt know by now, it's set to premiere along with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which touches down in theatres on December 16th. And while that may very well be the case, we've got a feeling it'll be here a lot sooner than that.
Remember that Escape From New York remake that's been brewing in development for a while now? Honestly, you may not. It's been almost a decade since the project first materialized and there really hasn't been a whole lot of movement on it since. Various directors have come and gone (Brett Ratner and Breck Eisner were both attached at various stages) and even big name stars like Tom Hardy and Charlie Hunnam have flirted it, but here we are, nearly 10 years later and still nothing.
Mads Mikkelsen's Galen Erso steps into the light via this all-new character poster for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Look for it to release on December 16.
