Though it’s been rumored the villain—who met his demise in the finale of Ryan Coogler’s Oscar-nominated phenomenon—may return in one way or another in Black Panther 2, Marvel president Kevin Feige has officially gone on the record to shut that theory down.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is mere days away from hitting theaters, which means the Marvel press tour is in full swing. Earlier this week, an interview with Kevin Feige revealed that Sam Wilson nearly made his Captain America debut in the Spider-Man standalone sequel, but it was cut from the script before it was even filmed.
