Mitchell Stafiej

Mitchell Stafiej is a filmmaker and video artist currently working in Montreal, Quebec. In 2012 he wrote, produced, and directed his first feature film, Found (www.thefoundfilm.com) which is currently playing at festivals around the world. Most recently, he has been working as a VJ for Bleu Nuit Video mixing live visuals for numerous art spaces, Pop Montreal, and band Chevalier Avant Garde. From 2008-2013 Mitchell has worked on over 15 short films as a writer, director, and art director with screenings at Cannes Film Festival, Montreal World Film Festival, Fantasia Film Festival, and awards at YoungCuts Film Festival and Canada International Film Festival, amongst others. During this time he continued producing independent episodic content for the web totaling over 3,000,000 views.
