Guncraft, the FPS with a sandbox building feature, will be officially launching on July 11, 2013, according to Exato Game Studios and Reverb Publishing. After being on Steam for just over a week, the gothic-noir Steampunk, action-RPG, has already received new content in the form of free DLC. The new Scenario DLC for The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing introduces two new exciting areas that can be accessed during both single and co-operative play. New areas will continue to be added to the Scenario DLC throughout the year and will eventually include “Heroic Deeds,” which are said to boost players “to an even more legendary status,” as they dispatch the monsters that threaten Borgovia.
Interceptor Entertainment have announced that their remake of Rise of the Triad will be simultaneously launching on Steam, GOG.com and Green Man Gaming this summer. Since Rise of the Triad will be completely DRM free, multiplayer games will work seamlessly regardless of which distributor they're purchased from. Furthermore, players can create their own levels and mods and share them using Valve's Steamworks.
During Microsoft's Press Conference yesterday, the specs for their next generation console, Xbox One, were revealed. Both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 contain greatly improved hardware from their current generation and are overall very similar in nature.
