After being on Steam for just over a week, the gothic-noir Steampunk, action-RPG, has already received new content in the form of free DLC. The new Scenario DLC for The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing introduces two new exciting areas that can be accessed during both single and co-operative play. New areas will continue to be added to the Scenario DLC throughout the year and will eventually include “Heroic Deeds,” which are said to boost players “to an even more legendary status,” as they dispatch the monsters that threaten Borgovia.
Interceptor Entertainment have announced that their remake of Rise of the Triad will be simultaneously launching on Steam, GOG.com and Green Man Gaming this summer. Since Rise of the Triad will be completely DRM free, multiplayer games will work seamlessly regardless of which distributor they're purchased from. Furthermore, players can create their own levels and mods and share them using Valve's Steamworks.
During Microsoft's Press Conference yesterday, the specs for their next generation console, Xbox One, were revealed. Yesterday's SMITE patch released Isis, Goddess of Magic, onto the battlefield. Isis is a ranged, magic based God whose basic attacks deal magic damage and scale with her magic power. Her basic attacks also utilize a three-swing chain, with the final attack doing increased damage and area of effect, but cannot lifesteal or critically hit.

Based off the computer-animated television series produced by 41 Entertainment, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures transforms the Pac-Man universe into an entirely new entity. No longer is Pac-Man funneled by tight corridors and stuck in a dull setting; his newest adventure will feature a fully 3D environment and new “powered up” game mechanics. Betrayus and his pack of mischievous Netherworld ghosts are attempting to take the Pac-World by force, and Pac-Man is its only hope.
Anomaly 2 expands upon its predecessor and creates a unique take on “tower offense”. There are no major issues with the game; it's quite polished and does what it intends to do very well. However, the lack of a compelling story and the complex game mechanics, at later levels, have the ability to drive away a certain demographic. This is one game that RTS and tower defense fans shouldn't pass up, especially considering the meager price tag.
