With a colorful presentation and varied yet simple gameplay, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 is sure to be a crowd-pleaser among the younger audience.
It's no secret that NBA 2K15 has had a steady stream of shoddy server issues for the past handful of years. As a massive fan of the franchise, it's a genuinely frustrating experience, expecting each new installment to no longer have lag issues or server dropouts that cause you to miss out on a bulk of NBA 2K's content. So, it's become an unfortunate annual tradition of waiting for that patch to smoothen those server issues. Thankfully, NBA 2K15 seems to be gearing up for the release of its first patch.
NBA Live 14's gameplay was incredibly stiff and awkward in motion. Shooting never felt natural, team AI was abysmal, and lay-ups and low-post moves all felt so canned and forced. It was like the players were action figures rather than professional athletes. Thankfully, EA Tiburon has been made more than well-aware of that fact that last year's installment was atrocity-incarnate and seem to be hellbent on fixing whatever they can for NBA Live 15.
MyTeam has always been a mode that came off as a distraction rather than a meaty mainstay for Visual Concept's 2K series. Thankfully, the team is hoping to rectify that and have the MyTeam mode become a much more substantial experience in NBA 2K15.
For anyone that was unfortunate enough to quite literally waste money on last year's NBA Live, then you know first-hand that it was barely passable for a PS3/360 game visually. Textures were lifeless and its player models stiff and dull as can be. Well, looks like EA Tiburon has been absolutely hard at work to right all their wrongs and if the much-improved graphical fidelity in the latest trailer really does translate to gameplay well, then NBA Live 15 could actually make NBA 2K15 sweat a little.
EA Sports has decided to go with up-and-coming superstar Damien Lillard as their NBA Live 15 cover athlete. The Portland Trailblazers guard had a breakout season full of clutch shots (I'll never forget the .09 Rockets-killer shot) and an impressive appearance at the dunk contest. With Lillard being chosen, this marks the second year in a row that a point guard has graced the cover of the shakily rebooted NBA Live franchise.
