New Girl Review: “Winston’s Birthday” (Season 2, Episode 24)
Nowadays, no episode of New Girl is complete without a shot of Fat Schmidt, and this week doesn't disappoint. Schmidt and Elizabeth wake up together in bed and, when Schmidt asks her about his body (has anybody ever savoured the words "perfectly sculpted pubic topiary" as much as Max Greenfield does in that scene?), she points out that she liked his body how it was before - cut to obligatory shot of Fat Schmidt's vigorous dancing with Elizabeth at a college party. If you notice, Elizabeth is wearing a Y2Kitty Cat t-shirt - make a note.

No One Knows What’s Going On With Jurassic Park 4
A release date of June 2014 was always going to be ambitious for such a giant project as Jurassic Park 4, and if recent Tweets captured by Ain't It Cool News are anything to go by, then the effort required was just too great and the film has been shelved. There's been no official word as of yet but the film's Digital Asset Manager Todd Smoyer Tweeted "Hollywood makes and crushes dreams. Goodbye JP4." While Concept Artist Dean Sherriff Tweeted the more direct "JP4 on hold."

First Footage Of Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity Will Debut On Entertainment Tonight For Some Reason
Alfonso Cuarón did a great job on his last film Children of Men, released all the way back in 2006, and so his next film has been gathering speculation and excitement in its wake like a snowball pushed by excitable children, but a snowball composed of cineliteracy. Said film will be Gravity, a sci-fi drama starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock as two astronauts who find themselves in a pretty bad situation.

Iron Man 3 Nearly Had A Sex Tape Subplot
Since its release a week or so back, Iron Man 3 has taken all of the money, and with good reason. The triumphant review on this very site demonstrated why that should be the case, and now that the dust is starting to settle and we're basking in the post-coital bliss of another Marvel movie, puffing our cigarettes or drinking our barley wine, everyone loosens their belts a little.

Roland Emmerich To Tackle T.E. Lawrence Too
Sure, he might be a busy man, but who could ever accuse Roland Emmerich of doing anything by halves? Me. I could. He's a lazy and ridiculous director. That aside, he has a lot on his plate at the moment. - not content with directing a movie based on the Stonewall riots, the pivotal moment in the gay rights movement in America, he is also in talks with Freemantle International to produce a miniseries based on the life of Lawrence of Arabia. The show, possibly to be aired on the History channel, will presumably cover the bits that the three hour cinematic masterpiece failed to cover, like that time the esteemed adventurer exploded the White House.

New Girl Review: “Virgins” (Season 2, Episode 23)
Let's all just agree right now that New Girl is the best sitcom currently happening right now. Let's all agree on that. Obviously, I'm not in any position to say that, being as I am just a man, with the same flaws and bouts of wrongosity as anyone. But it is. Elizabeth Merriwether's hit sitcom overcame a weak first season by introducing some key character developments (Jess's quirkiness gets toned down a little bit, Schmidt gets funny, Winston gets a personality) and allowing all of the characters room to breathe a little bit, and boy, did it work wonders.
