I'm wheelchair bound and was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy Type 2 at an early age. This has resulted in plenty of free time throughout my life to feverishly experience and write about films, gaming, wrestling, and more.
If you keep up-to-date with wrestling news and the business in general, then you probably noticed that Sting sent out a very cryptic Tweet this week. Said Tweet, which was short and to the point, simply mentioned the date of July 14th, 2014.
If, for whatever reason, you still haven't played Naughty Dog's brilliantly emotional apocalyptic tale, The Last Of Us, this summer is probably a good time to rectify that. It's common knowledge that Sony is releasing the game in a remastered form exclusively for the PlayStation 4, but what you didn't know is that you can pre-order the game right now from your couch, if you reside in North America or the United Kingdom.
There are some people out there in Hollywood that have totally hit rock bottom, and then there's Lindsay Lohan. Seriously, this woman is completely off her rocker, and just when you think her moment in the spotlight of celebrity destruction has subsided, she hits the world with another bombshell of stupidity. Lindsay Lohan is now stating that RockStar North stole her likeliness without permission for the Lacey Jonas side character in Grand Theft Auto V; everything from an identical voice to a self-destructive lifestyle involving drugs, constant paparazzi coverage, anorexia, and more.
During this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, there was an in-ring segment where The Authority (Triple H and Stephanie McMahon) announced that the current and 15 time WWE Champion John Cena would grace the cover of WWE 2K15.
While it's safe to say that Watch Dogs delivered on its monstrous hype - despite facing various setbacks, such as a seasonal delay - the game didn't launch without some bugs here and there. To be fair though, just about every title has a few problems upon launch. It is simply impossible to catch every glitch or bug during a game's production cycle. What really matters in the end is if the developers actually bother to go back and fix the issues that arrive once a game is unleashed into the wild, and if they do so in a timely manner.
Admittedly, Let's Be Cops is a very tough film to gauge probable success or failure off of from its trailers hitherto, which is probably why we've been given yet another one. On one hand, it's abundantly clear that our leads, Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr, have excellent comedic chemistry together - which can definitely be attributed to the fact that they are no stranger to working with each other - but on the other hand, it also comes across as a poor man's 21 Jump Street.
Resident Evil 6 has been announced for quite a while now, but we haven't really heard anything about it in a really long time. Now, a recent interview with director Paul W.S Anderson has shed some light on a good chunk of information, including the film's title, which will be Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.
A psychedelic art-style, minimalistic yet evocative story, and emotional soundtrack all make for a great way to spend an hour as you bring together the loving souls of a bird and a fish.
How do you explain what Lloyd and Harry have been up to for 20 years? The answer is simple: you smartly take the opportunity to turn their absence from cinemas into a completely dumb - pun intended - gag that spans 20 years.
For those following along with the trailers for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, or even if you have played the recently released introduction to The Phantom Pain, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, it has become abundantly clear that this will be the most thematically dark and serious iteration of the franchise. Outside of the iconic Big Boss and cinematic style of franchise creator and legendary video game director Hideo Kojima, it doesn't even resemble Metal Gear Solid. There's no traditional bonkers tone or anything, it has simply been presented as a game prepared to tackle the harshest realities of war.
