Remember when Netflix was strictly in the movie business? I mean, it’s right there in the name - Flix. But like any great business, the company began to grow and look to new ways of entertaining audiences on a nightly basis. Or ending humanity for others.
Former Arrow and Doctor Who star John Barrowman has been rushed to the hospital after sustaining a severe neck injury. Currently touring for an event called A Fabulous Christmas in which he sings and acts, Barrowman has canceled upcoming shows in both Bristol and Glasgow.
Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman finally arrived on Netflix this week. The highly-anticipated and long-in-development gangster film sees Scorsese, Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci reuniting for the first time since Casino and it’s also the first time Scorsese and Al Pacino have ever worked together (if you can believe it).
Disney is the most successful movie studio by a mile. They’ve got Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar and after acquiring 20th Century Fox, you can add Deadpool and the rest of the X-Men franchise to that stacked lineup, too. Oh, I almost forgot. They also have a little property in Avatar with endless sequels in the works. Long story short: the Mouse House is doing just fine financially.

Having been the mastermind behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Feige’s greatest achievement has been seamlessly connecting 23 movies culminating in the most successful film in history, Avengers: Endgame.

Even movies like The Secret Life of Pets 2 and It: Chapter Two massively underperformed compared to their predecessors.
