Executive producers often receive too much credit for the films they work on, but that is rarely the case with Guillermo del Toro, whose hand is evident in every film he has a part in. Anyone who has seen The Orphanage can attest to this, and it appears that del Toro might have done it again with Mama, which looks to be absolutely dripping with the inventive visuals he's known for as seen in the trailer, which was released a few days ago.

Gamers have to be wondering what Nintendo did to earn the cold shoulder from Amazon, the world's largest online retailer. Disappointment is a most familiar feeling for fans of Kurt Sutter's Sons of Anarchy. Over the years, Sutter's tried to deflect negative criticism by means of comparing his show to a soap opera, belittling what was, for a brief moment early in its run, one of the best shows on television. Soap operas are what my mother watches. If they were what I wanted, I would join her in caring about the overbearing melodrama inherent in every last one.
Nintendo knows probably more than any company that when one innovates, others are bound to follow, making old what was once new. Microsoft and Sony have already begun down the same path as Nintendo did with its Wii console, each embracing motion controls in their own distinct way. Now, it looks like the thievery or rather, borrowing, might not stop there.
Dentists and concerned parents the world round know that the meaning of Halloween for kids not yet old enough to willingly get drunk and objectify themselves in the spirit of the holiday is rounding up candy until either they, their bags, or both can't carry anymore.
