Saints Row 3 Coming This Fall
THQ has officially announced that Saints Row 3 will be shipping this fall. The series hasn't exactly garnered much accolades, especially when compared the grand-daddy of the criminal open-world sandbox genre, Grand Theft Auto. Nonetheless, I've still always had fun with these games that are more light-hearted takes on the genre.

The White Stripes Officially Break Up
The White Stripes have announced on their website that the duo have officially broken up. In the statement, "The reason is not due to artistic differences or lack of wanting to continue, nor any health issues as both Meg and Jack are feeling fine and in good health. It is for a myriad of reasons, but mostly to preserve What is beautiful and special about the band and have it stay that way."

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Full Character Roster
With the highly anticipated release of Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds creeping ever closer, the character roster has been slowly revealed in weekly updates. With the latest announcement of Sentinel and Hsien-Ko, the final character roster is now complete and comprises of 38 characters (36 on the disk and 2 DLC characters). The official list can also be viewed on the MVC3 site.

Two Worlds II Review
Two Worlds II is like the Toronto Maple Leafs for me. I root for it every time, I genuinely want to see it succeed and I can see the heart and the good intentions of trying to please the fans but it falls seriously short in many key areas. I'm not sure if it was because I'm a sucker for fantasy RPGs but I was highly anticipating this game after watching videos of it in action and all the ways it improved on the not-so secret bomb of the first title. However I came away unimpressed and almost even frustrated because at its core is a deep and fun RPG that's unfortunately plagued by problems, most of which have all been improved upon from the previous game but still not enough. It's frustrating to see a game that for every positive that it has, there is a negative that counters it.

Bruno Mars Dodges Conviction In Cocaine Case
After a highly successful 2010, Bruno Mars starts 2011 on a good note by avoiding a felony in a case for possession of cocaine. TMZ reports that the "Nothin' On You" singer has cut a deal with Clark County District Attorney's Office in which he receives a "deferred adjudication." This means that if he's able to stay out of trouble for a year, as well as perform 200 hours of community service, there will be no conviction on his record.

New Kirby Game For Wii Revealed With Video
On Nintendo's Japanese site, a video showing gameplay of a new Kirby game for the Wii appeared. The art-style drops the yarn motif that powered Epic Yarn and goes back to 3D graphics on a 2D plain. Epic Yarn was great and all but this is more akin to the Kirby we all know and love.

Killzone 3 Single Player Demo On The Way
We already knew the multiplayer demo is coming in early February but Sony just announced that PS3 owners will also get a free demo of the Icy Incursion level of the campaign, which takes place about halfway through the game. Playstation Plus members get the demo on February 8th, while everyone else gets it on February 15th.

Warner Confirms Live-Action Mortal Kombat Webseries
After last summer's amazing live-action experiment, Mortal Kombat: Rebirth, the concept trailer has officially landed director Kevin Tancharoen a job with Warner Premiere. While it will not be a feature-length film as planned, Tancharoen will direct a 10-part webseries, confirming the news that broke last week.
