THQ has officially announced that Saints Row 3 will be shipping this fall. The series hasn’t exactly garnered much accolades, especially when compared the grand-daddy of the criminal open-world sandbox genre, Grand Theft Auto. Nonetheless, I’ve still always had fun with these games that are more light-hearted takes on the genre. Look out for more news in the upcoming months.

Also, Saints Row: Drive-By, which was originally announced as a 3DS title, will also be arriving on XBOX Live and will unlock items in Saints Row 3.
