Bigelow & Boal Plan A Low Budget Black Ops Thriller To Precede Triple Frontier
Academy Award winning writing-directing team of The Hurt Locker, Mark Boal and Kathryn Bigelow have announced that their multi-stranded drama Triple Frontier will be pushed back so they can start work on a "low budget Black Ops thriller". As a result the filming of Triple Frontier will now be pushed back to Fall 2011, with rumors suggesting that they did this in order to get schedules sorted for some big name actors. Tom Hanks is the only one yet attached, but names like Sean Penn and Javier Bardem are also being mentioned in relation to the project.

6 New Clips From The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader
With only a week left to go before The Chronicles of Narnia The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is released, Disney are really giving the film a big marketing push and today 6 new clips from the film have appeared online courtesy of Collider.This is the third instalment of the massive franchise based on C.S. Lewis' bestselling fantasy novels, it is directed by Michael Apted who perhaps most famously helmed The World Is Not Enough for the Bond franchise. To be honest I haven't not been a huge follower of the franchise and I feel pretty much the same towards the books. To me these films seem to be very post-Lord of the Rings and are therefore a tad unremarkable, but they do appeal for a more kid friendly audience and work well for demographic.

Bond 23 Is “Back On” According To David Arnold
After MGM's indefinitely postponing of Bond 23 after last year's financial troubles with the company, David Arnold finally gives confirmation that the Bond film is back on. This is no surprise considering The Hobbit, under MGM, is preparing to start shooting in February and Bond is a pre-sold franchise and a guaranteed money maker. This news comes from regular Bond composer David Arnold who has been saying that Bond will definitely be going ahead and that financial situation would solve itself in the end.

George Clooney Or Brad Pitt For The Lone Ranger
Lot of news surrounding the upcoming adaptation of the 50's TV series The Lone Ranger. Recently producer Jerry Bruckheimer and star Johnny Depp (who will play Tonto) managed to secure Pirates of the Caribbean collaborator Gore Verbinski in the director's chair. Depp has now stated who he would like to see take the role of the Lone Ranger, two of Hollywood's biggest stars: George Clooney or Brad Pitt.
