The actress with the distinguished pedigree is more than just another pretty face.

Pete Davidson‘s very public love life has a new star in the form of Chase Sui Wonders. We hesitate to refer to the actress as the “flavor of the month,” since she is a human being, after all. It’s just so darn hard not to attach the moniker to any girl who gets caught up in that ever-expanding Davidson web. Nevertheless, she is lovely, and they appear to be enjoying each other’s company, even though Twitter was ‘shipping Davidson coming for Taylor Swift after her recent breakup with actor Joe Alwyn. But after their recent sighting at the farm of Martha Stewart on Easter Sunday, fans are wondering, who is this unassuming beauty?

Where have we seen Chase Sui Wonders before?

26-year-old Chase Sui Wonders is an actress known for 2022’s Bodies Bodies Bodies — which also starred Davidson, which is how they met — and HBO Max’s series Generations, in which she played teenage photographer Riley. The drama about a group of high school students in conservative Orange County, California, only had one season and was unfortunately canceled. Sui Wonders will soon be seen in City on Fire, the TV adaptation of Garth Risk Hallburg’s 2015 novel of the same name, which takes place in New York City in the 1970s. Sui Wonders will play college student Samantha Cicciaro, the character around whom the entire story centers. The 8-episode series — assuming it follows the book closely — will take us down a cynical, seductive spiral with Samantha. The ensemble cast of characters in the novel absolutely embody the ’70s in New York, and play in a punk band called Ex-Nihilo, of which Samantha is a big fan.

Her other previous roles include:

Astrid, in the 2022 crime drama Out of the Blue, with Hank Azaria,

2015’s Last Migration, where she portrayed Sloane Stafford,

Pete Davidson’s action comedy vehicle — Bupkis — set to premiere next month on Peacock,

Wake, a 2022 short also directed by Sui Wonders,

2019’s psychological horror, Daniel Isn’t Real, where she starred alongside American Honey‘s Sasha Lane,

Beau, a 2021 short directed by Constance Tsang,

2021’s On the Rocks, directed by Sophia Coppola and also starring Bill Murray,

and various short films.

The niece of American fashion designer Anna Sui, Sui Wonders graduated from Harvard University magna cum laude. In college, she also wrote for The Harvard Lampoon.

Sui Wonders appears to have started dating Davidson straight off of his break from actress Emily Ratajkowski, but they were said to have “insane chemistry” as far back as when they met on the set of Bodies Bodies Bodies.

Here’s to hoping that chemistry continues, and that Sui Wonders is able to tame that playboy.
