One of the biggest pop stars in the world, Avril Lavigne has made an indelible impression on people through her generation-spanning music about love and breakup, as well as her personal relationships.
Arguably, it was Lavigne’s relationship with musician Mod Sun that attracted the largest amount of popular interest and media coverage. Their relationship created a lot of buzz and fans became excited after Mod Sun raised the big question to the pop star near the Eiffel Tower.
This was indeed a fairy tale, romantic moment, and a ‘yes’ from the 37-year-old “Complicated” singer marked the beginning of a memorable Hollywood romance. It all happened last year, but unfortunately, the budding love story was cut off after the couple called off their relationship in February 2023.
The story didn’t end for Lavigne, though, as there’s a new man in her life. This is none other than rapper Tyga, who has been together with Lavigne on various public occasions. Naturally, fans of both are interested to know exactly what’s going on between the pair.

The pair first courted the cameras when they were seen kissing and holding hands at the Mugler X Hunter Schafer Party on March 6, 2023. They were photographed making out and holding hands before making their entry into Pavillon Des Invalides.
At one point, the rapper threw his arm around the pop star’s neck and grabbed and kissed her several times in front of the camera. They smiled at each other, held hands, and walked together. The “Girlfriend” singer was seen wearing black high boots and a hoodie. She had her hair straight and wore her trademark heavy eyeliner.
Tyga, on the other hand, donned a black T-shirt, over which he wore a gray jacket. Sitting at the front row of the Ottolinger show, the duo seemed cozy and were occasionally seen whispering in each other’s ears.
However, Paris Fashion Week wasn’t the only event that saw Lavigne and Tyga sharing an intimate moment. On Feb. 20, snaps of them hugging and getting into a car at Nobu, Los Angeles surfaced online. On March 2, TMZ reporters also took pictures of them going to Leonardo Di Caprio’s party together holding hands.
While a budding relationship at this moment seems obvious, neither party has given any confirmation of the relationship status.
