The 24-year-old is not known for sharing a lot of personal information, focusing more on sharing conversations she deems important and exposing misogynistic commenters.

As is stated on Famous Birthdays, her birthday is May 5, 1999, and she began posting on TikTok in late 2020. She is from New York. According to her LinkedIn, Khalidi studied Literature, Computer Science, and Philosophy at the University of Albany from 2017-2021.

Her degree seems to be coming in handy as she continues to address questions about hook-up culture, the wage gap, and homophobia in a well-informed, patient, and often humorous manner.

Khalidi comes from a Muslim household and she hasn’t been shy about discussing double standards and judgments she has received within her community. “You could say that you know, me not wearing a hijab. I’m cutting off a section of men. Me being brown there’s probably men who won’t like me for my race,” she said in one of her videos.

While Khalidi has spent a lot of time on TikTok addressing misogyny and other cultural issues, she also has several publications on Women’s Media Center where she addresses a variety of topics including the importance of women in tech, and the #MeToo movement.

On her Instagram, she posts photos of herself alongside comments that she received. The most recent ones being things like “If she wasn’t hot she wouldn’t be there” and “Well, she’s an adversarial argumentative nightmare.” Though many commenters have a problem with her, she seems to find amusement in the negativity and continues to have difficult conversations that she deems important.

To hear more of her perspective, Khalidi can be found via her Instagram and TikTok as well as frequently on the podcast Whatever.
