Wendy Williams ‘deeply’ hurt after judge says her career is ‘done’ and dead

How will Wendy fight the very system that controls her freedom?

Since it became common knowledge that Wendy Williams’ guardianship was allegedly a replica of the hell Britney Spears was cursed to live in under her conservatorship for years, we have witnessed a desperate cycle of the famous host striving to break free from what she called a “hellhole.” But apparently, not everyone, especially those in control of her fate, is on her side or shares her passion and hope of making a comeback when she regains her freedom.

Mere weeks ago, Williams won her first major victory in her case when she was allowed to hire a new lawyer to fight her case. And while she raised an enormous number of eyebrows when she got “the most hated lawyer in New York” – aka lawyer Joe Tacopina – to fight for her freedom, hopes were high that the Wendy Williams Show host was finally getting the chance to stand up against Sabrina Morrissey, the New York-based attorney appointed by the court to be her guardian.

But as per a recent TMZ report, when Williams appeared during her latest hearing on April 10, the judge didn’t hold back in decimating her hopes and crushing her dreams of reembracing her career as a host. During a hearing this week, the judge told Wendy that she has no hope of restarting her career. According to Judge Lisa Sokoloff, she should quit dreaming about becoming a host again as her career is beyond over.

She allegedly started by condemning her family, especially her niece, Alex Finnie, who has been standing by Williams in her fight to end her guardianship. Finnie, a morning news anchor for WPLG, a Miami-based television station, has been vocal about backing her aunt’s claims about her condition and suffering at the institution she was been held at, and even joined her during The Breakfast Club interview where Williams revealed the dominating and manipulating design of her guardianship. She has also been accused of kidnapping Williams from the institution.

The judge – after calling out Williams’ family, like her brother Tommy, who has insisted that she is mentally and physically healthy – proceeded to underline that while the host once had a great career, she will never see it again as “it’s done.”

TMZ’s sources claim that the judge’s seemingly insensitive remarks hurt Williams “deeply” since she has been open about her desire to return to the career that gave her life meaning but was cut short because of the guardianship.
