Pegged for a release on September 20 across a myriad of platforms – September 25 for those in Europe – retailers have already began listing Starter Packs for the toys-to-life actioner, with the entry point starting at $74.99. For that, players will be able to pick up “two new Skylanders characters, a first-of-its kind Skylanders vehicle, newly designed Portal of Power+, and the full AAA game.”

With the malevolent Kaos rising to the fore once again in an attempt to rule Skylands in all its glory, Master Eon soon pulls together a core group of Skylanders Fast & Furious style to get the behind wheels of a fleet of land, sea and air vehicles to topple the big bad once and for all. Not only that, but Skylanders Superchargers will expand the roster of characters available by introducing the titular daredevils into play.

Skylanders SuperChargers features a brand-new class of heroes, called SuperChargers who are distinct with fresh moves, powerful attacks and all-new weapons. These SuperChargers also have special in-game abilities that help Portal Masters fight Kaos. Twenty new SuperChargers character toys and 20 new vehicle toys will be available.

Skylanders Superchargers will blast onto PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U and even iPad on September 20, with Activision noting that a separate experience for Wii and 3DS will launch on the same day.
